  • I have started the “Yusoku Pattern” series!
    There are a lot of wonderful designs in Yusoku patterns, and I personally like them, but there are many things I don't know, such as the origin of the patterns, so I would like to study the designs while embroidering.
    If you know about Yusoku patterns, you will enjoy the taiga drama “Hikaru Kimi e” even more♪
    What we will be embroidering this time is the ``Mukaitori no marumon.''
    A pattern of facing birds. It is said that this ``bird'' is an oshidori. Among the Yusoku patterns, there are also ``Mukaitsuru no maru'' and ``Mukacho no maru''.

    = shizusa silk embroidery =
    When I first started working as a Japanese embroidery craftsman, I had the opportunity to see practice embroidery pieces embroidered by old craftsmen.
    I remember that the detailed and careful embroidery was so beautiful that I couldn't believe it was just practice.
    After that, I also made it a habit to practice embroidery.
    The design is based on "Japanese designs and paintings that have been loved since ancient times."
    I would be happy if everyone could relate to the cuteness of the designs and the excitement of crafts!

      Hello! I decide the colors I want to use in the image. Then I add more colors or change them when I choose the technique. Sometimes I change them after I embroider.

    I have a question, how many strands do you use in the thread, is it only two or does it just look that way because of the two different yellows?
    Beautiful work, btw!!!
    ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    • @shizusa.silkembroidery
      @shizusa.silkembroidery  Před měsícem +2

      thank you.😊
      Two embroidery threads are twisted together to make one strand, so there are actually two strands of thread. However, twisting makes the threads a little thinner.
      Sorry if I didn't understand the meaning of your question.

    • @samanthadean1083
      @samanthadean1083 Před měsícem +2

      @@shizusa.silkembroidery that’s ok, I thought that the thread you were using is like the embroidery thread from the craft stores, with like six strands that you can separate. It’s obvious to me (now) that the thread you use is a different material. Thanks for answering my question!

  • @louisestansfield1335

    Beautiful embroidery, could I ask what do you use with the brush to to transfer the patter onto cloth before embroidering it? ❤

    В любой вышивке одна из самых приятных частей, на мой взгляд, это звук протягиваемой нити через ткань. Расслабляет

    祖母は和裁から洋裁編物戸塚刺繍と手芸なら何でもOKな人で、むろん日本刺繍もWelcomeでした。 私もちょこっと教えてもらったのですが、どうしても糸撚る事が出来なくて···断念。

    Soo suga stitch is simply a satin stitch?

    • @shizusa.silkembroidery
      @shizusa.silkembroidery  Před měsícem +2

      Suga Stitch is similar to Satin Stitch but with a difference.
      Suga Stitch always stitches in the same direction as the weft threads of the fabric.
