HSCC is the Lay's potato chips of YT music...I start off listening to one, and then two....and then by the time I know it, it's an hour or two or...and I just can't stop!
This is by far the best cover I have seen of this song and I don't expect it to ever be surpassed in my lifetime.
I know Darren must be sick of hearing this, but the mixing of the HSCC songs is on another level.
It's the gold standard that others need to live up to.
My own mixes don't cut it after hearing the HSCC ones, gives me something to strive for!

@@rommelsaint8869 I just saw some videos of this "Lexington Lab Band", and yes, you are right in terms of the quality of those musicians. But HSCC has something they don't: Happiness, joy. And also arrangements of their own. LLB are very good, but kinda sad and almost an exact replica of the original songs.

I grew up listening to The Jackson & Michael in the 80's & 90's, & whatever you thought about the man you cannot fault his musical genius, And I'm always very critical/sceptical of covers of his work & the Jackson 5 but these renditions are 1st class, not just a cover but faithful to the Motown sound at the time
I am so hooked on this group!
