Kathy Burk does a lot of directing these days but she did a sitcom way back called " Gimme Gimme Gimme " I think you would love it ! She shares a flat with a Gay guy which leads to some real hillarious situations !

Kathy Burke is amazingly funny in it, and like others have said is easily one of the best sitcoms of the late 90's/early 2000's... you and queen really need to watch it, I reckon you'd love it too !!!... all the best from over the pond here in blighty !!! :-)
Harry Enfield used to date the mother of Lily Allen and Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy from Game of Thrones) and Harry and Lulu were based on Lily and Alfie as toddlers.
My fav sketches of Enfield and burkes were Stanley and pammy! Two rich people who liked to brag about their wealth but it always backfired hilariously. Considerably richer than yow lol.

Yes, you haven't seen any Kevin and Perry sketches because you've only predominantly seen sketches from _Harry and Paul_ (somewhat later). You ought to check out some of _Harry Enfield & Chums_ (it began as _Harry Enfield's Television Programme)._
On a separate but not unrelated note, I have recommended _The Fast Show_ before. With Paul Whithouse among many others.

2 legends. I love Kathy Burke. She did a couple good documentaries on Channel 4 couple years ago about body image and poverty. There a good watch as Kathy is always hilarious and you get to learn a bit more about the UK. 🍻

We lived this, first had our son and the world revolved around him, 2 year on and his little sister arrived and he had to share the attention for the first time and there was jealousy, as the younger one needs a bit more attention. This is perfect observational humour.
Believe it or not, you have seen the real baby Lou Lou as an adult. She was on as a guest on the Graham Norton show/ Miriam Margolyes compilation video. She was a guest in the clip With Dominic Cooper, where he was telling the story about when he worked in a Coffee shop and he accidentally exposed himself to two young ladies.
Miriam looking bemused for about a minute then turned back to Dominic and said “ Your Cock ACTUALLY fell out?”.
I think Lily was wearing a red dress and yellow high heels!
( but don’t hold me to that).
The outtakes from this series are really funny too.

That was my first time watching these two as toddlers and it was so funny, especially with your reaction. I recently watched a Kevin and Perry sketch and it too was brilliantly funny. I've seen quite a few of them and they are always hilarious, but this was my favourite. I think it was Kevin and Perry looking after Lucy, as in babysitting a young teenage very hot girl. Their reactions are slightly disturbing to say the least.

@@c_n_b yeah but all the skits are more or less on that level, even when the characters are old men.
I agree. There's not a lot of counterpoint to the praise here, but it's important. Many of the great sketch comedians have what I consider distinct high brow and low brow offerings.
Harry has his Cholmondley-Warner stuff at the top end and (literally) childish slapstick nonsense like this at the bottom.
French and Saunders had their acutely well-observed and brilliant movie parodies in their locker, but also crap like their two dirty old men rubbing themselves. And that's the only joke.
Catherine Tate has things like her gritty "Gay Son" sketch at the top and catchphrase-based tat like Lauren "Am I covered?" Cooper.
Even Reeves and Mortimer, although always juvenile to some, wrote and performed great comedy songs but also gave us regular sketches of two Frenchmen farting.
A lot of this is about the way the budget is spent of course, most of the things I list as quality comedy being the expensive ones to shoot, but that does rather reinforce the idea that the rest of it is cheap filler to pad out a half-hour slot. I can't think of much that Harry has done that fits the definition of filler better than this.
@@Ozzpot Appreciate what you're saying but in a way Enfield is the slight exception because he disappeared for about ten years and then came back with good comedy...Its only all his old "and chums" stuff thats juvenile everything after reappearing was fairly decent and not stupidity for its own sake....I don't think of him as using juvenile stuff as filler like the others I think of the juvenile stuff being the show "Harry Enfield and Chums" and then later there was "Harry and Paul" which was actually funny.
@@rlawrence9838 True, he made up for it later. Does make you wonder what the reason was though. After all _Chums_ was just _Television Programme_ expanded and moved to BBC1 from BBC2. Perhaps they thought at that time, main channel broadcasting needn't, or even shouldn't, be clever, but broad at any cost. Whatever the case, it seems we are in a minority in not finding it funny.
