Great Video, very excited, RRL always a great inspiration, but sometimes It doesn’t fit, or things are sold out so i think to get some custom parts too.
Snap fasteners is the way to go with leather. Easy on and they won’t fall off like buttons.
I think a custom chore coat is an awesome idea, you are designing your own boots and now jackets this could be the beginning's of your own fashion company for lack of a better word, design, coordinate labor, online sales than a NYC storefront, that's possible I think 🤔.
Go with the Dalmatian . You can go as Mr. Deville 🥃
There is a button, you first have a eyelet put in, then the post of the button is put in as a ring is put on the end of the post, keeping it locked in. Those are an amazing option
Dope customs!
Are you still going to own any Red Wings, and if so, can you make a vid of ones you’re keeping?
🙏🏽🥾😎
I am watching this out of sequence as I haven't seen the previous video(but I will rectify that oversight shortly). I am looking at this forthcoming chore coat construction through an entirely different perspective than I would have prior to sewing my Westworld shirt and it's extremely fascinating!
But I do wonder, how do you know that you can't sew? I am serious. Sewing is a skill that can be learned. I am not suggesting that you consider pursuing the craft but I know that it's possible to be quite adept at very simple sewing tasks that instantly translate into deeper understanding of garment construction when one chooses to advance to that level. If you were to learn to make something as simple as a fabric dining napkin or pillow case-it would immensely increase your understanding. In any case I am looking forward to seeing this play out!
Usually one offs are nearly impossible to compete with production stuff. In just about everything. But a $2200.00 coat made in China? That is absurd.
CJ, Honstly. YOU have to start your own brand. We all want exactly what you do!
That is very kind 🙌🏾
