You can model much faster if you create a pyramid and then peel away details from it with the Slice command or (much faster still) with the ASL command from the A>V>C> Slice plugin. Wasting so much time on 2D sketches is wasteful and pointless. AutoCAD is a direct modeling environment and sketches are rarely needed for very complex shapes. For frame furniture, all parts are designed immediately in 3D, starting from a box the size of the product. There is a detailed manual on my website. Building a pyramid using LOFT is also overkill. AutoCAD has a command to build a pyramid.
