    Thanks for a good summary on Maslow. I find it a good theory when it comes to understanding what drives employees at different levels. Simplistic, but good.

    Maslow's Hierarchy has always been taught in school and using the pyramid makes it easier to remember because it's common sense in that a pyramid is built from the bottom up & using it in this way helps people memorize the levels & steps.

    this shit is real, lately im obsessed about safety needs, probably i am transitioning to a higher level, but all workers of light must understand that every transition must always be with some form of resistance, negative forces always look to pull you back

    This might explain why a teenager's grades in school may often plummet. the change in societal structure, worldviews, mental health and hormones can heavily impact layers 2-4.

      Maybe if they live in abusive household otherwise they are lazy or entitled.

      @@smiley2477 I didn't live with either but I had teenage depression that lasted over and it was the people like you that caused/made a large portion of it worse.
      I'm still a bit depressed now but my productivity has drastically increased, i used to not feel motivated to do basic tasks such as eat, brush teeth & hair, shower and even go to the toilet somedays.
      dismissing a valid statement as "they are just lazy or entitled" is highly arrogant, unscientific and extremely unhelpful.
      overly simplistic answers like "they are entitled" or "they are lazy'" (etc.) fail to work and i'm sorry to tell you these "common sense slap" type of comments are some of the most braindead because it really goes to show how little you will dismiss coming to conclusions via examination and understanding of the complexities of the human mind.
      I'm sorry to say but you actually have to think to come up with a helpful answer rather than spitting these cliché "no nonsense" statements that i've seen so many old people with a superiority complex say.

    .... My physiological needs are met.... At least.... And sometimes safety

    • @Xavriel
      @Xavriel Před 11 měsíci

      Safety needs: people break into my house and stalk me and cops basically treat me like trash while my ex tells cops, courts and CPS that it's in my head and I'm a danger to the kids. This has been going on for five years. I don't have any hope.
      Social needs: ex has isolated me from everyone with his claims of mental health instability. He makes statements that I yell at invisible cameras, accuse him of stalking me with secret societies, and think he has a cult on me. My daughter and I saw a drone for about ten seconds floating outside my mom's house window and my daughter commented that she wanted a drone for Christmas so we told him how cool it would be to have a drone... He decided to tell the courts and CPS that I claimed he was stalking me with drones.... Therefore I don't have any social activity. Who wants to talk to the crazy person who is "convinced her ex is stalking her with secret societies and drones" I can't get into how he got my neighborhood involved in his scheme of "torment my ex for court" but I can't even feed a cat who is hungry without a 6 year old kid yelling at me, in front of his parents, to stay away from the cat.
      Self esteem needs: you tell me.
      Self actualization: take a guess.

    Why is Maslow's hierarchy of needs shaped like a pyramid?

    • @catherinesimm3804
      @catherinesimm3804 Před 2 lety +1

      In order for a person to reach one ‘level’ they must have reached all the levels below, as in a person would work their way up to the top of the pyramid. Self actualisation is not possible without all four other needs being met first.

    FROM MICRO TO MACRO
    The Education System has not given Traditional Aboriginal Cult the importance it deserves, and it is not surprising that no one can figure out the links between animist practices. It would require a lot of time, and effort, and finance to somehow systemise, rationalise these beliefs so they become accessible to the Western World, which is where production takes place. Some understanding and respect are necessary for interactions to take place.
    Are we saying that Aboriginal People have no Philosohy? They clearly consider, and have not ignored reasons for living, death, Soul continuity, oral exchanges and education, origins of things, classifications of beings and things, Spiritual levels of involvement relating to gender, age, Initiation, Totemic connections.
    The settlers have been modifying rules to adjust, and attributed trends that have changed with time, without acquiring the insights necessary to create a bridge with footings on both sides.
    All over Australia a common Spirit has been demonstrated based on different Climates, Country and languages: a major Western confusion has been taking place between pseudo Unity (the Voice) and ONENESS a common Spirit. As soon as Politics and Dialectics interfere with Religions and Spituality this becomes another game altogether: some 'Romantism' gets associated with a Culture based on harsh adjustments to local conditions. Common Oneness in Spirit is based on differences in 'Voices' as a consequence of a long tradition.
    The confusion we live in is about technical and scientific 'upgrades' that are dealing with what should be out of bonds! Corrupt expertise has been damaging common-sense exposing toxic gurus!
    As a consequence, A Maslow's Hierarchy of needs has been stepped upon, and the 'normal evolution' from Colonialism to Self-realisation or self-realisation, via Paternalism stopped: this has amplified the innerchild syndrome at global levels, increasing public outcries. .

    • @PrinceOfTheFlies
      @PrinceOfTheFlies Před 3 lety +6

      Because the lower you go down the hierarchy the more basic the need .The Maslow hierarchy is a prerequisite hierarchy.to go to the next level you have to complete the first .
