  • Senator Tom Cotton: "Why haven't you resigned?"
Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Milley: "It would be an incredible act of political defiance for a commissioned officer to just resign because my advice is not taken." He also says, "My dad didn't get a choice to resign at Iwo Jima."

    • @bobbart6498
      @bobbart6498 Před rokem +2

@@borisbubonja first of all, that’s some weeb shit. As the last two comments pointed out, he’s in an advisory role and not actually giving orders. The military doesn’t get to decide whether the US goes to war or how much force is warranted. That’s up to the president and as Milley pointed out, as long as the order is legal, they don’t get to pick and choose whether or not they want to follow it. They also can’t do anything political, hence why they never stand or clap at the state of the union except for military related things regardless of who the president is. As for the thing about human rights violations and killing kids/civilians with drones, unfortunately they are always going to be collateral damage in an armed conflict of that scale. We seem to forget that those things have always been present in our military triumphs. WWII for instance: we locked Japanese-Americans in internment camps for several years, treated POWs like dirt, leveled major German cities like Nuremberg and Dresden with fire bombs, and then dropped nuclear bombs which killed tens of thousands instantly and gave anyone else within a several km radius cancer and radiation poisoning in part to intimidate the USSR who we were allies with at the time. But a lot of that stuff is ignored because it’s pretty universally agreed upon (except for by a few nut jobs) that what we did in WWII was a good thing. Same thing with Sherman’s march to the sea in the civil war: I and hopefully most people believe the Union did a great thing by freeing the slaves, but they also robbed and burned down every house they came across regardless of if they owned slaves. The only reason this is even a discussion is because this war has become politicized and started on questionable grounds in the first place. Presidents have kept it going because withdrawing would be even more unpopular than maintaining the status quo. None of that is Mark Miley’s fault though. He’s just doing his legal and constitutional duties. If you want to blame someone, blame the president who started the war and authorized the air strikes, and the two who kept it going.

And yet, Milley is a Traitor. Milley is also constrained by the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which REQUIRES that if there is a question of the legality of an order, that Milley SPEAK UP about it "then and there" and make his objections known. This is for the obvious goal of clearing up miscommunications about orders. BY HIS OWN ADMISSION: Milley DELIBERATELY told no one, objected to no one, defied orders, violated his Oath, broke the Chain of Command, contacted Chinese "Foreign Dignitaries" and communicated sensitive military information. So, yeah, Treason. TWO of the THREE types of Treason, to be specific. Look up the definition of the 3 types of Treason. Milley also violated UCMJ Article 88, and Article 194, and that too is easy to verify on the net.

Top 5 Pieces of Evidence MILLEY MIGHT BE A TRAITOR working for Beijing (personal opinion here - feel free to add expand - but CCP has bought a bunch of our elites - see Pillsbury's "100 Year Marathon" - who are going to get a bunch of good American killed - and doesn't appear that CIA or FBI are doing shiz to protect us - so us little people gotta start trying to do something about this TO SAVE AMERICAN LIVES FROM ELITE TRAITORS):

      1. Behind Trump's back was in comms with Beijing after January 6 under guise that he thought Trump might nuke China. He evidently took personal charge of launch authority - without the knowledge or consent of POTUS. I'm no Tump fan but WTF? - Trump was and is not deranged - just "standard crazy".

      2. Evidently also told Beijing - if attack was conventional - he would provide advance notice to CCP - the IBLIS. WT2F?
      3. Brutally incompetent Afgan withdrawal - so bad seemed intentionally so - as if to undermine / subvert USA globally. Maybe just incompetence - but trusting our exit security to Taliban. WT3F?
      4. Giving up Bagram - just 3 hour F-35 flight to that new "dense pack" of ICBMs CCP is building in their western desert. Would have been some nice leverage to keep. But now CCP controls this billion dollar facility. WT4F?
      5. Worked on advanced AI PROJECT MAVEN with Fei Fei Li, grandaughter of top CCP official under Mao - communist who killed about 40 million Chinese. Li is also a reported CCP SPY WHO JOINED THE TWITTER BOARD 6 months prior to 2020 Presidential Election. My concern is that Milley may have pushed allowing one of our first weaponized AI projects be handled by Ms. Li and the CCP by and through her new GOOGLE AI office she opened in Beijing circa 2017. Got a feeling many in the Pentagon were like - wait - CCP is gonna have access to this tech. Also got a feeling Milley was like "don't worry about it". If I'm wrong - apologizes to the General for no. 5. If I'm right - why the F has the FBI not done something?

I wouldn't expect a civilian to see it the same way by virtue of not having been brainwashed as I have been, but when we sign the contract in boot camp, we are signing our bodies over to be tools of the government, including to kill others people and to die. We are to follow orders. It doesn't matter if it's a humanitarian, evacuation mission. Ours are still bodies to die for the mission and anyone who tries to fault leadership because bodies died, clearly doesn't understand the situation.
If you want to fault an individual for causing the death of another individual unduly, that's an entirely different issue. You cannot take the spirit of individual accountability and apply it to an entire mission though.
In the United States, those who sign up for the armed forces do so with the full understanding that they are there to kill and or die as needed.

Notice the oath states, “I will obey the orders of the President of the United States...”, but the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Article 90 states that military personnel need to obey the "lawful orders of his/her superior. The duty and obligation to obey lawful orders creates no grey area for discussion. But does the military member have a duty to DISOBEY “unlawful orders” including orders of senior officers, Secretary of Defense and even the President of the United States? The UCMJ actually protects the soldier in this situation as he/she has a moral and legal obligation to the Constitution and not to obey unlawful orders and the people who issue them. These have to be strong examples of a direct violation of the Constitution and the UCMJ and not the military member’s own opinion.
