Noise is from vibration. If the plant can move itself then they can make sound. But did they really be able to move? 😂
Can we focus back to the problems in the tenderloin its getting worst!
It sounds like it's just a byproduct of physiology (like how the leaves changing color is a physiological process). Why are you guys making it sound intentional and as a result of a sentient process?
2:41-2:46: What a timely story. I just purchased a Geoppertia Obifolia (Calathea) and I hear they are notorious for getting stressed and experimenting pest pressures. They’re also known for being hard to grow(i.e., brown leaves). I bought one from Trader Joe’s today (small, with a few leaves) hoping it will acclimate to my environment and wondered how pests knew where to find our plants. Most incredible! I’ll look for the study. Thank you.

Is there evidence it's not just natural sound due to the lack of water? Do the plants actually change their behavior to emit the sound, or is it simply a natural inherent sound from their usual metamoblism?

The woman on the left seams to be a bit condescending.
Maybe she’s subconsciously threatened by the woman on the right.
No I think she was just a little nervous at first. She appears to have no script so in the beginning she was just standing there with nothing to say while the other girl was going on with her points. Later on after she was able to absorb enough info to pivot off she started to open up, ask logical questions, and bounce thoughts off of the girl on the right, and act natural.
She just had to stand there a while with the camera rolling with nothing to say and probably felt a little silly until she could think of some way to add to the segment. Hard to do that with the camera rolling especially when you aren’t sitting behind a desk. All of your body language is just out there…
So now that we know plants have feelings, are vegans aware of what they are doing to defenseless plants?
