No, you only have to remove the green screws, remove the top plastic cover. and disconnect the pin connectors from the battery. Pull up the plastic tabs from the battery and pull from the middle one to remove it

So in order to replace the battery you need to take off the first inside plate, disconnect the power flex cable and display flex cable only (as well as the adhesive tape on the battery)?
