Ready for some serious and ridiculous acceleration? Check out our acceleration test of the Dodge Durango SRT! This one is so fast that your kids CANT be late for school! To get the best result, use launch mode! In this video, the 0-60 mph times, 0-100 km/h and an 80-120 km/h! The Dodge Durango SRT is one FAST machine! The Durango SRT is America’s Fastest, Most Powerful and Most Capable Three-Row SUV! You can bring the kids so fast to school, that they won't have time to ask you when do we get there! This is not a 4x4 system, but an AWD one! Acceleration and performance handling is enhanced by transfer case proportioning and dynamic controls for the AWD system when the vehicle is in Track Mode. When in Track Mode, maximum performance track driving is achieved with 160-millisecond shifts and up to 70 percent of the engine’s torque delivered to the rear wheels for the most pronounced rear-wheel-drive experience. Durango SRT drivers will also notice a vehicle that is more responsive from mid-corner to exit. There are seven SRT drive modes that you can use! But during the test, there was a minor impact on how the vehicle reacted! But if you want less wheelspin, use the Tow Modd. It sets ideal configuration to tow a trailer by using full stability control; AWD is set to 50/50 distribution and trailer sway control is enabled in the ESC system. In addition, the Active Noise Cancelation system is automatically engaged to reduce engine noise from the high-load towing condition

Ryan 0-60 was in 4.8 secs. Still impressive but not 4.4. Funny part is that the srt is literally only a couple mods away from that though.

Yes, but for instance in my opinion completely bone stock 2006-2010 and 2012-current Jeep Grand Cherokee SRTs are absolutely way to quiet stock and only sound good at WOT. The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and this Durango SRT have a much more aggressive sound compared.

Love this SUV, kind dumb though that Dodge stopped offering these in the SRT colors. I thought they looked beautiful in the B5 Blue.
Necrotic Reaper probably because it wasn’t selling a lot in that color. For 2020 charger and challenger you don’t get b5 blue because it wasn’t the most popular color.

This rig has a crazy 0-60. I'm wondering why the 60-100mph time is another 6 seconds, strange that it doesn't have as much top end pull. Maybe aerodynamics are holding it back? That range is super important for passing power.

I like the look and sound of the '99 RT much better.. I had just a '99 SLT 5.9 and did just a little bit of work to it and it was fast AF. And just like the original commercials I'd drive right through a snow mound with ease lol. Still my absolute favorite vehicle I've owned to this date.

@@AceAndrew0828 I heard and don't know for sure but, the 98-03 5.4's had serious head gasket and cooling issues. Mine never had any issues ever and my only gripe was how much fuel it would drink but other than that I truly miss it and wish I never sold it. Sounds ridiculous I know but it was the first new car I ever bought and I learned how to drive and passed the test because of it at 19yrs old. And I did haul a lot with it and it never complained or bogged down. Anyways I hope that you and your family are doing well and the same for everyone reading this. 🙏🙏🍻

Keep in mind there are 3 kinds of HEMI's, two of which are still naturally aspirated, and one is supercharged. The 6.2 will pull wayyyy harder than the 6.4 for example, you can't compare them.

all the filming is done with a crew of 4 for security and closed road section if cars need to pass we stop the filming.
that why we film only in industrial park because of a security issue and we have no budget for a private race track.

How does it corner though? That's the real question. Anything can launch with enough torque, but not everything can handle, no matter what you do.
It can't corner and would lose to a miata or gt86 in a legit race. Congrats on your straight line speed Durango srt I guess 🤷♂️

Well if you compare it to the Hellcat Durango then NO. Same 0-60 times. Plus the X6M cost 155k. Hellcat Durango cost 84k. SRT in this video cost 64k. Not sure what your point is.

The srt durango is sooo slow. A 392 will lose to a 3.5 naturally aspirated flex will win this and weigh the same. A ecoboost will absolutely destroy it.

@@illumination357 i can tell your a fool that fell for dodge being "MUSCLE" vehicles! Look up an ecoboost 1/4 mile on a f150 and see if ANY dodge can keep up and thats including a hellcat. A hellcat charger can get a 11.5 sec 1/4 mile an ecoboost f150 can get a 12 sec 1/4 mile. Srt durango is a high 13 to 14 sec suv. A flex naturally aspirated flex can run high 13 to 14 sec
@@kingkeef1182 a non turbo Ford flex will not out run a SRT and the SRTs are heavier 😅 now if you once you start tuning the ecoboost 3.5s then yeah they are fast, but stock for stock the SRT would win
@@twistedqj1670 look up 1/4 mile times then get back to me. I own a N/A flex and have run a ecoboost flex and i was gaining on the ecoboost very fast after 60 mph. I have ran an srt durango and it will keep up til about 70 but then the flex N/A will start walking away with ease. i took the limiter off my flex so it runs 140mph
