Before her arrival he explains to Ayanokouji that he's frustrated with her because her potential is wasted by being content with making him the end goal and he hates himself for that. Being the person hindering her sister's growth. By letting her hate him she might distance herself and stop looking up to him which will begin her growth. This may explain his actions of being cold and using violence against her if not for Ayanokouji when they first met.

@@asifullah9779 horikita gave ayanokoji food and then instantly requested something from him resulting in him getting "manipulated". As for Sudo, in the physical exam in the grip strength test Ayanokoji didn't want to show his true strength so he asked Sudo what the average grip strength. The answer Sudo gave was much higher than the actual average grip strength though he prob did it unintentionally so Ayankoji gripped it slightly lower than the value Sudo gave which was also very high thus resulting in him getting "fooled".
