  • It was a holiday early morning in Shenzhen, and many people were still asleep.
I came to Shenzhen Talent Park alone to record the tranquility and warmth of this beautiful morning.
    ------------------⭐⭐
    Shenzhen Talent Park
    ------------------⭐⭐
Shenzhen Talent Park is located in Houhai Area, Nanshan, Shenzhen. It is adjacent to Shahe West Road in the east, Keyuan Avenue and Dengliang Road in the west, Haide 3rd Road in the north and Dongbin Road in the south. The park covers an area of 77 hectares, including 31 hectares of lake.
The park is the first park in China with the theme of awarding and motivating talents. The talent element of modern art is an important space characteristic of the park.
The lake's water source comes from the outer sea and the city center river. Its daily housing capacity is about 600,000 cubic meters. By arranging different plants for freshwater wetlands, rain gardens and seawater wetlands a beautiful scenery is formed, which also optimizes the water environment habitat.
The flexible vertical design ensures the adaptability of the park to rainwater management in extreme weather conditions. The different scales of space around the waterfront provide a variety of relationship experiences between people and water, realizing people's natural intimacy with water. The park also functions as a theater of time and city life, hosting various acts every day.
A variety of lakeside facilities have become the best place for local citizens to get a close touch with nature, including book bar, exhibition hall, a 2.7-kilometer-long blue jogging track, high-standard shower room, well-designed children's playground, the hydrophilic rocky beach and open lawn. Meanwhile, the park has also provided a good habitat for all kinds of birds.
The scattered sandstone beach group on the lake is home to one stopover for migratory birds like pipers on their routes of twice-a-year migration. Bird piles in the lake together with a wide variety of flowering-like plants are also efforts to build a good biological habitat.
Shenzhen has no shortage of parks, but as with all things in life, not all are equal. Shenzhen Talent Park is one of the better ones in the city, a high accolade in what is a ‘city of parks.’ Nestled away in a bustling area of Nanshan, this whole area has sprung up into a must visit place that offers both a quiet escape from the city, and a fine dining experience, a real Shenzhen place.
This park transforms at night too, with the nature of modern buildings in Shenzhen, they are designed with night time illumination in mind. With a kaleidoscope of colours on offer this is an absolute feast for the eyes.
The best location for the night view is from the bridge that stretches over the water.
Expats call this Shenzhen Talent Park. It is a themed-park pay tribute to the outstanding talents who have contributed to Shenzhen's development in the past 30 years.
The walls engraved and displayed records of history of Shenzhen's 40 years reform and development. You can jog around the 2500meters park area. You will see here the famous bamboo building and curvy-shape Shenzhen Sports Center. At night, your eyes will feast to transformation of the park's light color show.

You would not use the word "clean" if you had ever actually visited a big Chinese city. Unless, that is, you're from one of the few cultures that are dirtier than Chinese culture - and there aren't many of them. Their street cleaners keep litter off the street but that's about it. They spit all the time, anywhere. The men pee up against buildings. The children just squat and poop or pee anywhere, even in the middle of the sidewalk. If you go to the store and buy groceries (or anything, really), you have to wipe it off when you get home - and the wipe will be almost black. Whenever I moved anywhere new, it would take about two full weeks of deep cleaning for me to get it to the point where the cloths weren't black after wiping down a surface and the mop water came out clean. I've lived all over the USA, including in NYC, and never found any place that dirty. The NYC subway system is worse and dirtier than Chinese subways, but that's because it's a lot older. Otherwise NYC is cleaner.

This video of a Shenzhen early morning walk is truly mesmerizing. It's amazing to see a bustling modern skyscraper city in its quietest moments. The contrast between the peacefulness of the morning and the usual hustle and bustle of the city is truly captivating. It's great to see a different perspective of Shenzhen, and this video captures it beautifully. The calm atmosphere and stunning visuals make me want to take a morning walk in Shenzhen myself.

Your channel really offers the highest quality walking videos of China, and I'm really grateful for the the opportunity to catch glimpses of these cities I might never get to experience in real-life!
If you don't mind a little constructive feedback though, I was wondering why the colour of the footage seems to be edited for higher saturation and/or temperature (or otherwise has gone through some other colour editing)? It actually has made this video quite painful on my eyes to watch, and it is especially noticeable with the faces of the people in the video, which have bright red skin tones like they're badly sunburned. Maybe it is just this video because I haven't noticed such an issue with your other videos.
A lot of content creators of this genre do colour editing to their footage to beautify it, but I think it's totally unnecessary since the views are already perfectly beautiful in their natural colour.

You should now move to neighbourhood walks as you have covered downtowns a lot. That will be more interesting to see Chinese neighbourhoods houses or apartments etc

You should invest in image stabilization software or equipment for the walking part of your video. Otherwise it was a nice look into a beautiful city.

What's wrong with the basic mindset of the city government?
    Walking or jogging isn't everything.
    Let people enjoy life 😅
