I think the best principle in trading is "always know your exit", it takes emotions completely out of the equation. You set the "take profit" and "stop loss" when you place the order, and then you just wait and see what happens.
Doesn't setting a stop loss just make you bait for SHF algos? Why lock in a loss? why not hold until the trade is green...
@@warrenweeder3569 You're making the assumption that the trade will end up in the green. But what if that doesn't happen? What if the asset that you're trading just keeps moving further and further in the wrong direction?...
The reason why it's important to set stop-losses is because it creates a safety net for yourself in case your trading hypothesis is wrong. This is especially important when you're trading leveraged positions (which most traders do).
You can use technical analysis to account for potential traps set by the market maker when you set your stop-loss and take-profit thresholds, but you always need that safety net to preserve your capital.
In order to make more money than you lose, you need to set up your trades so that the upside is always greater than the downside (for example: set up the trade so that the stop-loss only requires a 1-2% downturn to trigger, while the take-profit requires a 4-5% upside to trigger. When you lose you lose a little, but when you win you win big.).

@@warrenweeder3569 I see your point but also There is a finite window for specific trades. If you are at the top of a large move down it will not be going back into your zone for weeks.. months.. or ever. So I do not trade with stop loss unless I am in a very crucial part of the chart where if it breaks then it will seriously affect my account. Otherwise I follow the movement and rhythm of the stock and market in a given day.
@@warrenweeder3569 Thats the best strategy. And you will only lose if the company of the stock goes bankrupt. Otherwise the market and so stock will always rise. Over a given time that is.

I made $500 from AIRE stock, it just got listed today and sky rocket high. Im upset I only bought 1 share if I would’ve bought 500 shares. Which would’ve been $4000 I would’ve had $250,000. So people who think day trading isn’t worth it. You just gotta be smart and patient.

I tried trading but cannot find any information about how to get around PDT and GFV rules unless you use an account over $25k. I almost made $45 on my 2nd trade but the GFV rule came into play and made me miss my mark and I ended up losing money. I am trying to essentially replicate what you did with your $1k trading video where you made more than 3 trades per week but with a smaller cash account. I have had no luck locating the proper platform that will allow this. What platform do you use? I have seen you with an account of less than $2k before allowing you to make more than 4 trades per week.
futures trading is not subject to pdt.
I would cautious in futures or options trading... It is harder than you think. If you can accurately and methodically guess where the stock is going on a regular basis then you should be trading with more money end of story.

no level 2 is not needed. It does not matter and it is a distraction tool. Learn price action and movement of stocks and the market. The level 2 isn't telling you sht
After seeing your previous videos, why would you keep trying futures? The commissions are killer, 3-5 contracts for /MES on TD is like $50

you'd look at your broker's day margin requirements for a day trade. multiply that by 5. make sure you have plenty of room beyond that.
