Regarding pens for exams- cello maxwriter/ cello pinpoint was our go to pens, pilot was there but it had leaking issue, so never used it in exams.
Pencils : Apsara & Nataraj
Eraser: Non dust was undisputed king
Geometry set from Camlin (yellow box)
Note book: Hindustan, we didn't had branded ones like Doms, classmates etc

First of all its my opinion about everything :-
Use a Transparent case , infact our school has made a rule that we should carry transparent case and even transparent board with us.
Dont go for fountain pens ever. They become very messy. In my case , I carry two ball (win tea mo) and two gels (normal classmate gel , etc) . If I have to write fast then I use gel other wise I use ball for smooth and precision writing.
No need of any fancy items. Carry a compass everyday , its a sure necessary item. Carry 2 size scales too.
You can carry one set of pencil colors. You can be in the safer side if bychance the teacher gives you to color your diagram.
Dont use Pilot Frixion. They are not allowed by most of the schools.
Btw I am a Class 6 student and my exams are going on.... So yeah best of luck everyone and hope it helps !

I'm from Bangladesh 🇧🇩.I've been watching your videos since early 2022.In Our country,90% of the students study in Bengali medium & During the exam period We are only allowed to use black ink colored Ballpens (for both OMR filling & answer writtings).we are also allowed to use blue/Green Ink clolored Gel pens to underlining & hightlighting the topics of the answers...all kinds of red ink usage is prohibited in Exam...

Instead of carrying two scales i would recommend to Carry classmate Asteroid 30cm extendable scale
It can be a 15cm and extant into 30cm.
