I can't remember if it's some tracks or purely a race regulation thing but I know there's a thing where some specify that door cards are a must, that is another purpose of them too! Looking awesome mate!

That sound deadening acts as a water seal as well mate. Stops ingress when it rains when water runs past the seal.
