Oh no, Jamaica! Stay strong and recover quickly! Sending love and support! 💙
"we're still alive! nobody no get no hurt! that is the greatest!" I liiive 😀
God’s grace and mercies are always with Jamaica even when it seems not, that’s why Jamaicans know how to survive
Jamaicans are the most resilient people.
@@giniolamy Don't compare us to Haitians, smh. Haitians are by themselves
So glad that Jamaica didn’t get a direct hit! 🙏🏾🇯🇲
Next time worst to come this is from Mother Nature no forgiveness the evil that was done cannot be undone
It never was going to get a direct hit. The hurricane model always wants to show the worse case scenario never what the true path is lol
Hurricane models and projections are not absolute. So it is better to prepare in case of unpredictability.
Please stop saying Jamaica didn't get a direct hit! Tourist towns and the capital aren't the only places that exist! My family is from Treasure Beach (that's in Southern St. Elizabeth) and many homes were left without roofs and people now homeless.
St Elizabeth is not only Jamaica … so that’s why she said Jamaica “ didn’t
Because your roof is gone, it doesn't mean Jamaica got a direct hit. We didn't get a direct hit for that. I am grateful
Are these the only communities affected in Jamaica. My impression from family is that most homes are standing up well with the storm. Jamaicans build their homes better since hurricane Gilbert . If the builder follow protocol the roof can be built to withstand a category 5 hurricane.
They always try to find the worst to highlight. Same old TIRED journalism !!!
Sensationalism.. Kingston alright for the most part. Barely any breeze. But make wi see how the local news guh in the afternoon.
@@dewitwineyes, just take it with a grain of salt as the news will always exaggerate the situation
One love, One Jamaica 🇯🇲
Hold tight fam 🖤💛💚❤
Praying for the local residents near river bands
I hope builders will continue to follow building codes. They can save lives. Love to Jamaica and all the islands affected.
Sending Many Prayers 🙏
Send food, water and warm clothing and a couple tents your prayers won't work here.....has it ever?
Dramatizing at its best. Standing at fishing shacks pretending like the island was battered. Nothing much happened on the island. Straight propaganda.
It definitely did it just didn't happen in the areas that reporters care about. The south coast of St. Elizabeth was battered many people left without roofs and homeless. My family is from there I've been getting updates from them since yesterday morning.
@@user-yb7mj8zh9j because most of them still using zinc roofing down the coast of St. Elizabeth. If any where is damage its mostly the coastal areas.
Jamaica land we love 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Prayers up Jamaica!!!🇯🇲🙏💙
The reporter says 'Jamaica's International Airport'...I am sure she could be more specific regarding which one.
I love my people. Thank Jah for protecting the people. We live to fight another day.
Wow, none of them complained. I just got to work. Rare these days
Jamaicans are resilient people! 🇯🇲 💪🏿🇯🇲 💪🏿🇯🇲
at 5:30am this Thursday morning, about 60 miles south of us, as a Cat 3. We did not lose power or water, not much damage, thankfully. The sea on Seven Mile Beach looked like glass. It was so smooth, but no, she passed us at 10:30am. The waves were starting to build, and a bit of rain. Thinking of the others who were deeply affected. Also, us locals call it CAYmaaaannnn, not CayMENS.
Congratulations to for the 2:13 minutes video posted on YTube titled Hurricane Beryl Hits Jamaica. It was the most “boots on the ground” coverage questioning real people without bias or sensation. Job “ best done”of all the international and American media networks.
By next week Jamaica is up and running
Hope for a full recovery Jamaica!
"Record breaking" . . . . . . lmfao
daylight???
Is this footage of before or after the storm?
Remember years ago they had to voice over and translate our Jamaican patio? Not anymore 😂. The world is quite familiar now 😁.
The drama from the reporters is amazing.
If there were only a little grace, mercy, and peace we would be having many more disasters! So we are actually experiencing A LOT OF grace, mercy, and peace !!!
Where is the update on the damage level in Jamaica?? They had updates on the other islands hours after the storm left however they haven’t mentioned a peep about Jamaica yet.
The parishes that got the hardest hit are without service. Here in Jamaica we havent heard much either. Parts of Mandeville were seen on social media and its very bad. Can only imagine tge extentbof damage thats not shown.
The Jamaican accent 😍
How much could it really cost to repair a shack
help from the government? god will handle it like every other situations and obstacles we go thru. 🙏🇯🇲🙏
I love this weather ❤❤❤❤
It’s the Earth way of cleansing itself, just stay safe and healthy Jamaican citizens 🙏🏾
Jamaica recover? That was quick
Don’t go about spreading misinformation for clout. Jamaica has 3 international airports ( 1 in Montego Bay, 1 in Kingston & 1 in St. Marry) ONLY one was seriously affected. Get your facts together !!!
I’m supposed to come to Jamaica at the end of the month
Day 5 of no power or water in St Vincent...
all the poor animals outside 😢😢
Sad. But don't ask us to pay for help, they're an independent republic now. They can ask the UN.
Amen Jamaican are praying people very spiritual so yes it will pass through but it won't be so bad prayers changed things.🇯🇲❤️
Jamaica is the strongest island to stand a hurricane…. Them people was in the streets having parties Jamaica is not a normal place
But their motto is, as Everyone knows, "Don't Worry. Be Happy!" And, Jamaica Will !
How's Mobay doing
I applaud the Jamaican government 👏👏 for mobilizing every department in the government, to protect the citizens of Jamaica, Andrew Holness and your team good job 💪🏾🙏🏾🙏🇯🇲🇺🇸🌏
I. Pray they rebuild
We can rebuild this is not new to us.
Why is this British reporter is just so awful at her job??? So much drama! No story that makes sense, so typical of Sky News.
Yes there is poverty thanks to the remnants of slavery & colonization. However, always giving the stereotypical ideas of the 🇯🇲worst from Jamaica. Always showing the poorest people & makeshift fish shacks on the beach. Never fails!
In Kingston & St. Catherine there are more than 1 million people out of a population of 2.5 million people who live in planned communities where the homes are made out of concrete and steel. Good Lord FIND another neighborhood!!!
She is good at her job. Her job was to find a depressed community and show the worst. She did. Now the 'first worlders' can feel good about themselves. Mission achieved
Thanks for this comment. They always have to reinforce the negative image under the pretense of caring.
@anntaylor8065 what pretense of caring, she never mentioned the loss of lives?
Why do I feel like these storms are MEN made!
They are …..so ppl can fall for the climate crap they’re pushing ……. The only way to push their agenda saw what they did in Dubai with cloud seeding ?
@tweettwooo yes, remember that there weren't any storms during COV!D. TWO YEARS later, "Hurricane Season" starts early!
Because we took hundreds of millions years worth of fossilized carbon out of the ground and spewed it into the atmosphere over the course of a few decades.
Reporters a new approach…
Daniel 10:6 His body also was like the beryl,
and his face as the appearance of lightning,
and his eyes as lamps of fire,
and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass,
and the voice of his words
like the voice of a multitude.
Leave it to the sky sports to go to the worst parts of the islands to showcase
A brit reporting on hurricane in jamaica
Love the accent ❤
Such a great accent
Then they mugged her.
That place looks like a dump.
It's a hurricane in hurricane season
actually about four weeks early and way to heavy for the time of year. But whatever.
@jgtemperton 4 weeks in really .. and we've had similar storms before .. look for Carla or Alicia or Katrina .. and didn't a nice category 5 stall over the carolina's for about a week in 2018, but whatever
@@brianburgess3231 Yes. Hurricane Florence was the one that hit North Carolina. It was horrific! I was stationed there. 🌀🫡
Let's hope they don't ask us for assistance , they want independence, so get on with it.
@thompsontag1 give jamaica back to the indigenous Arawak indians and make black people pay reparations.

Was this the same sort of hurricane the area has suffered as far back as records go , or one of the new ones caused by climate change or some other fantasy ?
Sorrowful doomsday
What language do these people speak 😮
Because it may not have been a natural storm
Reporters stupid questions. My God
God save us allways pray.. god is good all the time
They ought to come to Britain. It’s safer just a bit wet 😂😂😂
is this the first time a hurricane has hit Jamaica ?
for this time of year. Seas are at record temperature for May/July. Its the heat that causes this.
@@khakisuitANDting Let's get real. Records go back about 150 years. The Earth is 4.5 Billion years old. Think about that for a second. When people say this has never happened before they just mean in their lifetime.
🤷♂
Prayer works 🙏🏾
Nothing new the same thing every year, just nature doing a clean out, just get out of the way during the process.
It is new, it's 2 months early and they may still get storms throughout the summer months of increasing severity
First Jamaica loses all 3 games at copa America then 🌀 hurricane decides to rub it in.. poor Jamaica 🇯🇲

Nooo, it was just that it hit sooo early . We've never seen storm in July, they were mostly in September or later.
So much BULLSHIT
The government help them yeah just like the Government helps the American people they don't.
