Drake’s only option is to try to pump out as many hits until people forget. He can’t go down the path of a mature introspective album because that would require him to address all the weird behavior, but honestly there’s no explaining that away.

I'm a huuuuge Kendrick fan, and I loved this beef because we ate lol
I prefer lyricists kinda artists over artists that cover more for the flow vibes and instrumentals, so obviously I was never really intrigued by Drake, however after Family Matters, I think it is a good moment for him to actually make solid work. That track was good, not enough to win the beef for sure, but I saw he could do better. I only see him being truly relevant if he pulls up a solid album. What would the main theme be tho? The biggest issue I had with drake's last album was how diluted it felt to me. I think a good album needs a solid theme or at least one that gets developed as the album progresses. Otherwise he might just stay in making diluted hits, not even iconic and original hits like MJ for example whom he references so much.
It really depends of what his discography lets him do I guess, he's always worked for the mainstream market so he doesn't have time I assume for a solid good album. So that's another big question mark for me, he never behaved in the bussiness like that and he delivers the numbers (altough now it is a really bad time to be investing on his work).
