    Thanks for sharing. Our ten-year-old Indesit has finally given up the ghost. I have been looking at alternatives that don't need Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, internal lights, or any other daft extras. The model I've more or less decided to purchase is the 10kg variant of this model. I have a relative who owns the model in your review, and it has performed flawlessly.
    Your review has helped make the decision to purchase the Beko over the alternative Samsung model that I looked at.
    Much obliged for the informative review.

    Thank you soooooo much. That little blue tag thing in the detergent dispenser had come loose in my newly installed Beko. Beko has nothing in its manual or website (or even spare parts) that explained what it was for or how it should be fitted. There was something in the manual supplied but it looked completely different to the one in my machine and had a diagram that meant nothing to a layman. Google provided zero help.
    Your explanation and demonstration is excellent. Found on CZcams. Tbf, I was getting seriously frustrated until I found your video. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    I had a Beko 6kg machine for 12 years and eventually the bearing packed in. I now have this same reviewed Beko 8kg machine 1400rpm. I can confirm it seems worthy. After a week or so of use, nothing unusual to report. Build quality seems fair to good. Fairly sturdy construction, seals and drum seem high grade. As per lifespan of machine, only time will tell. I have had Beko machines before and never had less than 6 years out of them. Only thing I don't like is the LCD display but it's no huge deal. Cost around £340 delivered in UK. I did a load at 40 degrees using oxiwash at 1400rpm on fast+ mode, took 27min. The pump is very quiet and powerful. It fills with water in no time and starts cycle very quickly. The motor is very powerful and nicely calibrated. It does vibrate a bit substantially at 1400rpm but I have not done any proper balancing yet. Certainly a worthwhile option if you are looking for a washing machine.

    One thing I found confusing at first is the on and off switch. To a new person it means to switch the machine on, when in fact to switch the machine on is the start button and not the on off button. On off button is on or off for that special program you have selected. If that is wrong, please someone put me right on this one. Thank you I intend to do my first wash today. Fingers crossed.

    I had no idea that there was an anti crease and a fast plus option, too. Neither did I know that there was a specific programme for washing the drum. I have to clean my washing machine around once a fortnight to three weeks, and I use a regular wash at 90. Also I only found out that you flipped up the plastic part in the detergent drawer for powder, a few months ago and I have had the machine for over a year now. Is this the case also for Vanish powder, where I put it with washing liquid with the plastic part flipped down? Vanish powder tends to ruin the machine as does certain items. Can Beko granules also be poured into the detergent drawer with the plastic part down? Also are Beko granules bought from Amazon as good as the ones bought directly from the company? It is really sad that engineers who have been sent round for technical issues have had to explain things to me and still I didn’t receive complete information. I don’t recall receiving any instruction manual with this. Also I am vulnerable and have a disability so need the extra care which I don’t get.

    My mum's washer is beko..it washes perfectly but there are somethings annoying about it..the first one..it spends alot of time to balance the load..for example about 15-20min although you can not see any imbalanced tumbling..i can be sure that i've never seen that it spins at the first attempt even if you put same size cloths and full load in the machine..the other thing is it's 2min pause to unlock the door..i've never realized why some companie's washers doors unlock a year after nding the cycle..that 2 mins is really as long as a year😁

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Před 3 lety +2

      The lock at the end can be frustrating especially if you are waiting to get the clothes out, but if it is taking a long time to balance the load, then it may be worth trying to put more clothes in when doing the washing. This can help to balance the load quicker.
