Small piece of advice from me, a solo player without friends to play with that I've had to try and FORCE myself to accept: If you play this game solo, expect many MANY games to not go your way no matter what you do. Because it means you're far more likely to get team slots filled by bots which....well I'm sure we all know how bad the bots are in this game. Try not to get too tilted, play the game out, and just move on to a different one. I have had SO many times where I've just been SO frustrated because my team is doing stupid stuff, but then I remember it's because they are...literal bots. (which....small side note: I hope they change that. I'd MORE than happily wait in longer que times if it meant I had no bots. filling the team slots with bots just leads to a worse game experience imo) I want to like this game, the core concept seems SO FUN but trying to play it SOLO has just been miserable for me.
N. Brio slime monster will also count as alive to lock down gem pads for anyone reading the comments for extra tips. Cortex is booster but turning enemies into animals will stop their timer of turning in wumpas and stop them from turning gem colors
A hint of my own, Understand the map. And more importantly, it's relic stations. Some of the relic stations on certain maps can be incredibly useful. Take for example, My main loadout: Tawna with Wumpa boost. Pretty good scorer loadout, Though the power charge takes a while. However, The Snaxx dimension map has Kapuna-Wa, Which not only boosts your speed, But also the rate your power recharges. This allows you to use Wumpa boost (Which can be activated while you have it active to not only increase that Wumpa stockpile by a little bit, But also *Instantly* make it able to be turned in if it's filling up.) much more often. Is a blocker harassing your bank on the stage with the bonus bank, That means they may be more focused on protecting the main bank, Giving you the opportunity to not only activate the bonus bank to give you an extra option for banking, But also bank *More* Wumpa than if you cashed in on you own bank. Learn the maps, Their relic stations, Their effects, And strategize on how to best use them.
Love your content and found your videos on Crash Team Rumble really useful. If you do end up making any more guides on the game, would you be able to cover what to do with uncooperative team mates? I know each role has their own job and most players (especially new players) just stick to what the role encourages. But I seem to keep getting players who refuse to help capture gems (normally on our side) or fight off blockers at our wumpa bank, I normally end up getting steam rolled in games like this, regardless of how much I ping. Strangest experience so far is I had a Coco one game just walk back and forth next to a relic till I claimed it and they wondered off.
Today i was winning and just needed to score like 70 points. The opposite team only had 350 wumpas scored. So the entire enemy team spent 2 whole minutes as blockers wasting time when at least one of them could have been scoring some points! After about 2 minutes i finally decided to activate my team side flame trap to kick the enemy team off my bank so we could score
I have not mastered the game yet nor do I think I will, I was hesitant to buy the game but I still bought it. A few games in I still wasn’t sold on the game until a game that was neck and neck both teams within 100 points and i banked my 130 wumpa and we won the game. I GET IT NOW😊

Great guide but there is a problem. People chooses the character they like instead of focusing the PURPOSE of character. Plus i've seen 4 crash, 4 dingos in matches so this guide is for full teams not randoms. Also seeing how unbalanced some stuffs are kinda makes me stop playing already in day 2nd
Noticed the same, more people should carefully base their character on their roles, and act accordong to that role/purpose to form a good team. As a Blocker, block.. as a Scorer, score.. and form a functional team this way. Now its just people choosing the cjqractwr they fancy, like ypu said, and ecerybody is just cowboying around like its the wild west instead of playing a team sport.
In those cases it's better for you to choose the missing role in the team, happens often with new players so it's good to be skilled in more than one role. Also, some characters are great in more than one role, with Cortex I usually take the blocker role if one is missing. The core game is flexible enough to make it fairly balanced even with an unbalanced team if the team understands what's better to prioritize in a given moment

And once new characters and stages come out we all gotta adjust strategies so nothing to worry about when placed on a team that doesn't know what to do. Let them learn
I'm not always a like and comment person. But great videos on this game, appreciate it. Although I find the players not knowing how to play and the game splitting up teams that do know how to play, very frustrating. Keep up the good work man
If this game becomes an actual esport (it won't) I swear I will become a top player just because I love this game. Something I like doing is stealing our gem first then looking at the other gem stations. If the neutral gems are more than 50% us, I go help, if it's less than 50% us but the enemy gem side isn't taken yet I go take that because A, it might draw some enemies from the neutral station and B, if they don't notice then we get a bigger boost, negating the total loss of the neutral zone
Best team comp: 1 N. Tropy, 1 Catbat, 1 Coco. 2nd blocker or scorer perferred. A second booster is a waste. Use 2 Gasmoxian Guards (Coco and Catbat) , 1 healing fridge (ideally on N. Tropy), 1 Wumpa Stash on your flex. As soon as the epic relic station is active your booster should peel off and start to get it going for your team with your scorers occasionally depositing as they come back to bank. Your blockers should immediately go to lock down the neutral gem zone or interrupt the enemy gem pad depending on the map as soon as the game starts, and your flex should lock down your home gem pad. Scorers should start collecting as much wumpa as they can, and some relics as they go to be ready to bank as soon as the boost is active. If you're winning after the initial push your blockers should rotate to defense, defending your bank and relic stations from enemy pushes. If you're losing, go on offensive and hang around the enemy bank. This is why I recommend Healing Fridge and N. Tropy as she has the maneuverability to rotate quickly, while using the Healing Fridge for sustain.
Without a blocker the game will be extremely hard someone tried it out he lost in a minute the enemy got 2024 and victory and his team got 120 when he played with 1 blocker he won 2086 and the enemy 436
I hate that i know no one is gonna follow these tips...i played so many games with different people and no one even tried to do anything everyone just tryed to block while i went for pads relics banks and we still lose while i did everything....only time i ever won is when i actually had a team and in a call and even in there we didn't talk about the game and still won so i think only people in teams can win ehile with random yiu just need to criss your fingers and hope they know how to play
This game is extremely dull I get it if your 12 but if your a grown ass man it definitely seems like a hard pass I mean there's just not enough going on. Seems like it could be a game on Roblox it's to childish and simple

Yea, this game sucks solo. I probably won't ever load it up again at this point, even after only 20 hours probably. It is just NOT fun solo, at all.
