This is not a longplay. I've used the youtube editor to stick together the videos (they are not from my others Claw playthrough). Cutscenes are included.
1 video is an entire level. No editing. So you can be sure I didn't used cheats.
One thing you should know: Claw is, sadly, bugged. You can't get all the treasure in 3 levels.
-LEVEL 2: a coin is too high for you to reach. You can get it with a jump-glitch.
-LEVEL 9: a gold bar is placed inside a crate who cannot be reached. You'll need a load-game glitch for this one. Also, 4 coin seems to be missing.
-LEVEL 14: a TigerGuard is missing. Thus, a gold bar, a cross and 1 ring cannot be collected. No glitch for this one.

Inspired by Your video, I decided to dig up this game on my computer and try and max it (at least there where it is possible). And of course I am stuck at La Roca, trying to reach the skull just before Save Point 2. Is there anything special about this jump? I go the catnip, yet I fall just before the platform. And after a 10th failed attempt I simply start to wonder if I can do there anything more than just pressing space at a pixel-precise moment and holding it.

@Jędrzej Marciniak: it's a pretty hard jump, nearly frame-perfect. You should be able to do it easily if the game runs at 60fps.

Woah, thanks! I actually didn't expect You to answer so I managed to figure out the jump - it actually can be done without running when Claw is on the very last spot available (he goes "Woah!" and leans towards the "abyss"). Those pixel perfect jumps are a pain for me. I am currently trying to do level 6, got to 1st save point but the stash with moving platforms (the one to which You get through first catnip) is gonna take me some time. Although thanks to Your video I know it's possible. Thank You once more :)

The cutscene at the beginning just perfectly summarizes the love and dedication that went into this whole game. Whoever did this truly made a gem that can be played no matter what age you are and what time you live in. A true classic, if sadly rather unknown.
They made also game "blood" MPKFA is cheat in both this games ;D also main characters in both games is played by this same guy.
Monolith made this game. They're the creators of FEAR as well.

Since my childhood I was always convinced and told everyone that collecting all treasure in Claw was impossible and whoever managed to do it is not mortal. I confirm I found someone under that profile, your gameplay was really out of this world!! I play Claw for 20 years and checking your whole walkthrough made me feel like an amateur, haha (and so does my walkthrough)! There were secret areas, I can give the example of two of them: Battlements' Clouds and Red Tail's post fight, that I never knew about them in this time span that I'm playing the game. My opinion about your walkthrough can be summed up to one word: Respect. You master this game, I never thought I would see someone doing that! My sincere congratulations for this excellent performance!

They made a Claw 3D sequel but as usual in the gaming industry, things happened during development and the game was eventually released as Nikita: The Mystery Of the Hidden Treasure
Man i watched this with a big smile. This was the very first video game I ever played in the nineties. I believe it's art style and the cutscenes was ahead of it's time. It's a shame there's no sequel 😔

An amazing thing about this video is not how i got nostalgic watching it but it's how my mother without even seeing my mobile screen recognized this game I'm watching just by hearing this sound 7:02 . She immediately asked me if i am playing that game i used to play all day when i was a child. Even after 20 years she remembers it.
Edit: living in bangladesh i didn't have access to get the full game, i only had the demo of the game which came free with some software disc or something, i used to play that demo over and over again. Still some of my favorite memories from my childhood.

This was a game ahead of its time. The level design is absolutely beatiful and each and every one has different food items, enemies, jumping levers and so on.

I always come back to this video and let it play whilst I close my eyes. It takes me back to when I was a 4 or 5 years old and I watched my mom play it. Those sounds, they truly mean the world me. They’re the key to some of my most cherished memories.
Ah, the memories of this game. You beat all the bosses with no effort while I got stuck in most of them. Amazing walkthrough.
La Rauxe: spam melee, don’t push him into corners.
Katherine: hit and run tactics, try and dodge.
Wolvington: crouch and melee, DON’T let him get away from you, he’ll wreck you fast.
Gabriel: don’t waste time trying to hit him directly, push the button with your sword. Dodge.
Marrow: crouch to dodge shots, anticipate the parrot’s attacks, use handgun, spam melee.
Aquatis: cqc hit and run, calibrate dinamite throw, gtfo, hit tentacles with ranged attacks.
Red Tail: try to stay on top of the platform.
Omar: do as he does, git gud or get lucky :P

Memories! Nostalgia! This was my first game, and i still say till date, it is the best game ever seriously. The story and storytelling, captain Claw, and everything was amazing! A true gem of a game!!

Not that it was the case (closed scenario), but for completion you should avoid using energy swords and Magic Claws since they may throw away treasures to unreachable areas/death zones.
Damn the background is incredible on all levels.

Always thought that the coins and rewards are impossible to collect 100%, but you collected all of them. I did completed all the levels though. Every new level was like a worthy precious reward that we waited for. This indeed is a masterpiece. This game will be a part of me my entire life.

Loved this so much when I was a kid. Worms 2 and Claw are still maybe my favorite games ever. Didnt manage to defeat Katherine so I never got past that. After all these years I am watching this again. One of the best games ever. After 20 years I am still hoping for a sequel or a remake. This level of skill and precision is rarely seen. Really impressive! I find the game very challenging (and I'm quite sure I am not the only one), but you make everything look so easy. Even after struggling for so long I can't win it. I keep falling into the lava when I need to defeat Omar the second time...
If you want a little trick: There is a code that gave to Captain Claw infinite munition, even if we talk about gun, dynamite and Magic Claw. You can wriylte the code twice to activate and deactivate it if you dont want to look like cheating (you will cheat anyway)
The point of this comment was that i abused of the infinite amo cheat and shot at Omar every second. Then i took my timing and distance to know where Lava Tentacle goes down so I could jump

This game was one of my biggest childhood traumas. I've never managed to get past Undersea Caves let alone perfect anything, I even remember getting past Cliffs and that damn boss took me over a week.

Sir, hands down, this is BY FAR one the most amazing gameplay I've ever seen. You rocked around those dogs like a true pirate. I loved this game when I was a small boy and I would still play it today. :D this game was also released the year I was born, so this just makes it more awesome. It is so sad there will never be a Captain Claw 2. Imagine with today's graphics, physics and engine what an amazing Captain Claw you would make.
And about your gameplay, I don't know why you kept evading using fire/ice/lightning swords and magic, but I guess it was because it would've been too easy for you. Nevertheless, very entertaining run. :D
