Me too. Poor, live in an apartment, share closet with my hubby.
Well. She talks about lighting but there is a lot of shadow and darkness in the clothes rails and shoes. I wouldnt be happy with it being so dark. It is very simple to run LED pipe along the back of the shoe shelves and also to have it under the clothes. I have seen closets like these where they have all that and more. This is big yes, organised yes but the details to make it a great closet is missing for me. Then again I dont know if that was offered and the client didnt want it. Just my opinion of course.

At least these people PAID for their stuff, instead of shoplifting it, like so many people do, these days.
Great idea putting the clothing behind glass (will keep them from getting dusty - I would have done the same for the shoes and bags too). Some of these closets are too small :p I dream of having a huge room filled with my favorite clothes, bags and shoes (love Mariah Carey's closet that was on that episode of "Cribs" and Oprah's old closet at Harpo Studios - would want it to look like a department store).

3-4months to design this a simple closet? are you kidding me? this designer job is the dream job. 3hours is too much for this.
I could believe that. Some of the stuff was probably custom made or specially ordered. Not to mention wiring for the light fixtures, carpet installation, and moving and organizing all the closet. 3-4 months seems about right to me.
this asshole designers and constructors are fooling these rick brats. that's all. How do I and you suffer from this? prices are jumping up for simple things like this. That's why I do everything myself. I am a woman and I can design and build this closet, even better. Why? Coz I'm poor, but creative and smart. :):)

Well it took me like 4 h to put 2 IKEA Pax wardrobes togheter. No planing and shoping inkluded. To do a wall would probably with shoping and planing and all take me at least a weekend.
I am more a minimalistic wardrobe kind off guy but then I am on a budget.
I guess you haven't had home repairs! To be fair, it's hardly a simple closet. In fact, It's a custom furnished room. Not to say I feel like I need this, just that I understand the logistics involved.

i didnt really like it, its too clean like a hospital, i think it needs colour. But the organized drawers were wonderful

It's not for me, either...in theory, I like the boutique "shop your closet" idea, but I don't want my home to feel like a retail space. Also, many of the shelves were way too high up to be convenient. But the client undoubtedly knew what she wanted.
