Safe and Sound | Slough Youth-Led event | Artswork

This video captures the Safe & Sound event, which was created by young people in Slough in collaboration with Together As One as a pro-social response to knife crime. Young people decided they wanted to let their peers know all the different activities on offer where they live, that give young people alternatives to anti-social behaviour and getting drawn into violence. It was an amazing, creative, empowering day - check out the video to find out more.
Each of the 15 projects like this one responds to something that young people care about or want to change where they live. The programme connects groups of young people with artists to explore and articulate their ideas, before giving them funding to shape and deliver creative projects that will make a difference to their communities
