I tried my best to portray their story in 8 minutes, I hope I succeeded. This is my tribute, I hope you like it.
Thank you TVD and Delena. It's been a hell of a ride. It's been a slow and painful wait. Worthy, tho. They are endgame.
This is dedicated to every DEr, but specially to Ara and Álvaro. It was our first OTP together and we saw it live forever :)

I HONESTLY believe DE has been the love story, idgaf who says otherwise or what Kevin said about SE because everything proves DE was the love story, they got the journey, the obstacles, they got songs about going from hate to love and falling on love and songs about not being able to let each other go and the quote "when it's real you can't walk away" was said to be about SE but it fits DE more because they haven't been able to walk away from each other even in s2 when he killed Jeremy. and they accept each other good & bad. Stefan couldn't love her as a vampire, and SE walked away from each other more times than I could count, and if they truly loved each other she wouldn't of fallen for Damon and SE were fated to be together AND got together all the other times but there was never a Damon before, and I find it hilarious that a lot of the songs that played on SE SCENES were about a dysfunctional relationships, they slept together on 1x10 to a dong about self harm you can't tell me they didn't do the song stuff on purpose lol anyways to me DE was the love story from the very beginning because they had the journey, SE met, kissed, broke up, said ILY and had sex within the first 11 EPS TOO fast for my liking. I like relationships with buildup and I knew that DE would be ENDGAME from s3, anyone that actually started s8 and still thought SE would be ENDGAME when it wouldn't make any damn sense was in denial. they said it was ALWAYS Stefan but A) I don't think Elena ever really believed that and B) by s3 she said she couldn't think about always. and also with Stefan she never wanted to talk about the future but with Damon a future is all she could see, IMHO that said it all to me and it was AND always has been Damon no one else. when Damon died she couldn't take it and compelled away her memories but she still fell in love with him - he's her life, her soulmate, the love of her life, her true love. she can live without Stefan. she can't live or function without Damon. ENDGAME since day one.

Bughead Shipper a lot of ppl have said that Bonnie might've seen the 8x16 cemetary SCENE, because JP said in s2 she knew what the endgame was so I think Bonnie might've seen DE and their HEA not the pilot SCENE, a lot of ppl think the same lol
@@sarakennedy2633 right because if bonnie sees the future, it wouldn't make sense for her to be telling elena a vision of the past. she told elena the vision of the crow and fog and a man after the scene with her and the crow and damon in episode 1
Funny how many people still blame the sire bond for Elena falling for Damon when it has been proven time and time again vampire or human Elena still choosed Damon and she was falling in love with Damon even before she fully cut things off with Stefan. And let's say the sire bond is the only reason she fell for him then the Doppelganger curse is the only reason Stefan and Elena fell for each other does that sound fair?
In their eyes the doppleganger curse is different Honestly the sire bond excuse is used for denial
everyone seems to forget that the witch in New Orleans said that that a vampire is sired only if she has feelings, human feelings before she turned. Which means that Elena had strong feelings for Damon before she turned. And if the sire bond is so literal so all the people they turned would be in love with them which is quite absurd. And she fell in love with Damon way before she turned
matthew mann ppl obviously use it as an excuse because they hate to think that she could ever choose Damon over "saint" Stefan. I love Stefan but he's far from perfect and 1) the witch in 4x08 said a vampire only bonds to her sire if she had human feelings pre vampirism 2) she said she loved Damon in 4x23 after the sirebond was broken and 3) she revealed in 6x02 she fell in love with him in 3x01 long before she was a vampire, ppl just need to gtfo it! she loved Stefan yes but the fact ppl think she'd stay with him the whole series is ridiculous when it's based on a book about a love triangle and both couples had to happen, she loved Stefan yes but IMO she loved Damon 200000000x MORE. she couldn't even survive him dying but ppl still thought SE would be endgame when they destroyed them to the point they couldn't fix it, THEY finally get to the point where their friends and on good terms and ppl wanted them to ruin that and get romantic AGAIN ugh IMO DE was ALWAYS the ENDGAME.

Seeing this reminds me that throughout their crazy, messy and complicated life the love that Damon and Elena have for each other has remained constant, even though elena didn't want to admit her feelings for him, she has always loved him and he has always loved her
When I saw Damon die I knew Elena was going to love Damon forever . And when Elena fell under that sleeping spell I knew Damon would love her forever.😇😇😇❤💚💋🎩

Great video! I just finished binge watching all 8 seasons of TVD on Netflix. Watching the intense chemistry between Damon and Elena was fascinating to watch. I just wish the finale was 2 hours. I heard Damon was supposed to propose to Elena but they had to cut it out since they didn't have enough time.

Damon is so misunderstood, he's hurt, he's been betrayed, he's been tortured and he's...in love, there's so much depth and mystery to his character...they could've done something with his character but they just left it as it is...Damon the monster.
Everyone thinks he's a monster, there's good in Damon, but he won't show it because he doesn't want to live up to anyone anymore because of his father...he's been abused by his father, he's been taken advantage of by Katherine...he just wants to rest, to finally relax and put an end to the pain. The only thing that Damon Salvatore wants is...Happiness. The man just wants to find peace...if it even exists, he knows it all ends somewhere but he wants to find happiness before it ends...he wants to go in peace. Truth is, we will never know what the future held for Damon Salvatore, we can only imagine what happens next...
