  • Unable to find a cure for his daughter, the desperate father cried while sitting on a park bench. Suddenly, a little boy came up to him and said he could help. And soon a miracle happened.
    #storiesfromthebox #cautionarytale #liveyourbestlife #sadstory #familystory #kindstory #sadlovestory #audiostory #amazingstory #lifestory
Ethan was going through the park when he spotted a cozy bench by the lonely fountain. Feeling the need for a break, he decided to sit down.
People walked back and forth along the road. Some hurried about their business, while others leisurely strolled. Smiling young mothers pushed strollers, and small children rode scooters and bicycles. It was an idyllic picture.
All this brought back memories of a beautiful park in the center of a small town where he spent his childhood. Ethan's mother worked a lot, so his grandmother took care of him until the 5th grade. They would often visit the park, feeding the birds and having conversations about anything and everything.
As Ethan thought about his grandmother, a sad but grateful smile crossed his face. She was, perhaps, the closest and dearest person to him.
She died when Ethan was already a university student in his third year, and it took him a long time to come to his senses. Later, he often reminisced about her, especially during significant moments in his life. She had noticed his knack for math early on, even before he started school.
"Ethan has a brilliant mind; I think he can be a talented engineer, and then a great future will be ahead of him!" the woman would proudly declare. She'd worked in architecture all her life, so she knew what she was talking about.
Ethan's mother would simply smile. She thought her mother praised Ethan out of her blind love. But Ethan did indeed turn out to be a talented mathematician. It became evident in the first grade. While other children struggled with basic operations, Ethan solved problems of increased complexity, meant for fourth graders. The teacher assigned him additional tasks to keep him interested during lessons.
"Ah, it's a pity your grandfather can't see what you've become," the grandmother would sigh, looking at yet another diploma Ethan had earned from the city's mathematics competition.
Ethan's grandfather had passed away a few months after his birth. The grandfather was a surgeon, enthusiastic, attentive, and thoughtful. He was loved and respected in their town. He died right at his workplace; he became dizzy, his eyes darkened, and his chest was constricted. He was immediately taken to the cardiology department, but they couldn't save him. The grandmother often shared stories about her husband, creating a vivid and realistic image in Ethan's mind. So, in a way, Ethan's grandfather remained present in his life.
But his father... Ethan knew nothing about him. As he grew older, he began to ask questions, longing for a male figure to be by his side. His grandmother and mother, though wonderful and caring, could not fill that role. Ethan yearned for someone to talk to about masculine topics, to play sports with, and to discuss problems with.
For a long time, both his mother and grandmother evaded his questions.
"It's not my secret," his grandmother would say.
As for his mother, she would either change the subject or claim to be busy. But one day, she finally gave up.
"He left me when he found out I was pregnant. He ran away, that's all! The usual story. He was from out of town; he said he was from the capital, but who knows? He was working here. He told me plenty of lies, then disappeared. All I know about him is his name and city of residence. After he left, I realized I was waiting for you. I also realized that I'd leave the baby behind, no matter what. My parents supported me," the mother sighed. "After a few months, he appeared here again. He called me and asked me out. When he saw my rounded belly, he ran away. He was scared. You know, I don't blame him. But I'm glad to have you. Well, that's about it. It's not a pretty story, so I don't want you to ask any more questions about it."

Good for Dad for making every effort for his daughter's treatment. But... Where were his eyes when he tied his life to that money-loving lady. But I hope the boomerang comes back to her.
Good luck and good health to the girl.
I wish there were more doctors like this one.
Thank you for such heartwarming story❤❤❤

Wonderful story. There are so many people like Ethan. Very smart but NO common sense. They succeed in getting success but loses things that matter. He lusted after the Bimbo but her couldn't understand. He learned from his daughter and being humbled, he was able to change and was blessed. Travis appeared and Hayley was saved. The doctor's eyes were opened and he was able to help more.

In other words, never try to be with someone you feel attracted to. "Nature" is a jokester and only wants your demise, your failure. If you are attracted to someone, run away as fast as possible! It is a trap! Only marry someone you like, as you like your sister, or aunt. You know, no excitement. Every time, that will be the best choice.

What an amazing, sad & Inspirational story. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform! Ethan wasn’t very good with his choice of wives, however; he was definitely a good father willing to do anything to save his daughter’s life. Little Travis was an angel & was a blessing to Haley. Kim was a gold digger & had no desire to be a Mother, & left her daughter behind with no remorse. As Jesus said would happen in the last days; He said natural affection would be gone from the heart of Mothers. How sad!
Thank you for this story & I pray for you & your family. I miss our communication! Love, Pat ✝️🙏🕊💓🌷

Thank you again for this story. Ethan is blinded with love for Kim and does not see her true nature. She will definitely leave her husband the moment he stays without money, that is how it goes. Some people simply don't have empathy, not even for children. You are brilliant, dear narrator.

Now you need to do a second story, where Travis and Hailey meet again, as Dr. Demond adopted Travis. And even thought the two were great friends, they need to all of a sudden, recognize their love for each other. Give it a good go. Travis needs to become a doctor, and he actually finds a cure for Hailey’s disease, and eventually, marrying and having kids and live happily in the area close to the hospital, so Travis can get there as soon as he is needed, and Hailey can visit, with the kids, and a nice side story about Travis, how he became a doctor and followed in Dr. Demond’s footsteps, takes over his practice and helps anyone he can. He becomes a well know, worldwide physician and works to find cures of some of the worse illnesses.

That was a very good story, but it took a long time to get from the beginning to when he met the little boy. In my opinion, you could have started it after college and occasionally referred to the past for clarity. His first fiance could have been left out as she truly contributed nothing to the story other than he was a big jerk. That's my author opinion. Am I an author? Nope. But it sounded good!👍❤️🤭

Simply the most miraculous and beautiful story ❤️ about Travis and Dr DuMond.
"Intelligent and most important empathetical." "The ideal combination for a future doctor." Dr Dumond 'n Ethan agreed.
I can't disagree, considering the horrific doctors we have TODAY. In my experience of 75 years, I believe we are seeing more "modern - day witch doctors" leaving medical universities. UGH, likelike Dr.NathanKing in Kailua, kona,Hi, 'n Dr, Fartchee, of recent vaccine shots "Johnson 'n Johnson for covid.
May they 'n their families be damned and cursed for generations to come!!!
