is this with all pro tools i cant get it on mine i'm using version 2018 .12.0

Rob, this is a newer feature of Pro Tools. Unfortunately the 2018 did not have this available. At that time it was only available in the "Ultimate" version of the software.

Many thanks- so the only thing I can do is maybe create a new track, move the clip into it and add eq to this track ( one clip only) so The clip gets the eq , or any other effect.
