Method:
1. Grease and flour two 9” round cake pans.
2. Set aside.
3. Preheat oven to 350 F.
4. Sift all dry ingredients into a bowl.
5. Set aside.
6. Combine all wet ingredients.
7. Gradually whisk wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
8. Once well incorporated, transfer to cake pans.
9. Knock pans to remove any air bubbles.
10. Place in oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
11. Once fully cooked, allow to cool on your kitchen counter for 10 minutes.
12. Clingwrap cakes while hot and allow to chill in fridge until fully cooled.
13. Place dark chocolate in a bowl.
14. Set aside.
15. Scald whipping cream or heat in your microwave.
16. Pour hot cream over chocolate and season with salt.
17. Stir with your spatula until chocolate is fully melted and mixed evenly with the hot cream.
18. Cover with clingwrap as illustrated in the video and place in your fridge to cool (about 4 hours or overnight for best results).
19. Using a cake beater, at low speed, whip mixture to lighten and incorporate air for 2 minutes before whipping in icing sugar.
20. Continue to whip until icing forms soft peaks.
21. Place in your fridge to chill.
22. Carefully remove cakes from pans.
23. Using a serrated knife, level both cakes.
24. Place one on cake stand or plate.
25. Top with icing.
26. Level off and top with remaining cake.
27. Ice cake with remaining icing as illustrated in the video.
28. Cut a slice and enjoy!

Excellent video! I cannot wait to try this.
Just one question why did you choose full cream milk instead of butter milk . Thank you.
This recipe calls for full cream milk. I have tried it with buttermilk..and also sour cream. All came out great. This is a fool proof recipe. Great tutorial Shaun👌👌
Hi can I order a cake from your sister please? Is it available to purchase?
Great chocolate 🍫 cake, I must say that I love your step-by-step instructions into the actual making of the cake ,but I would like to find out, if I don't want to use oil, can I use melted butter instead. Would it have any effect on my cake. This is something I got to try, especially the icein.
Looks delicious but that sugar is way too much for even me, and I don't have diabetes
