Not only are Alex, Geddy & Neil among the best musicians in the world - despite their legendary accomplishments over the years and their reputation...they're all awesome, down-to-earth people. Watching their various documentaries, behind-the-scenes, interviews and outtakes - is just as entertaining as the great catalogue of music they've crafted over the decades.
I swear all of Rush just seem like some of the nicest guys in the world. All rock stars and actors need to learn a lesson from these men. Of course we just lost one of the greatest not drummers but men in the world.
Why do people always do this introduction like we don't know who Lifeson (or Rush) is. If we didn't know, we would not be here watching this. So I made it almost 8 seconds into this. I have to go now because they might next tell me Rush is from Canada or something, and nobody comes here to be insulted.
No...Alex isn’t the best guitarists. BUT, he may very well be one of the most PROLIFIC, most CREATIVE, and APPEALING writers, to ever have access to a guitar......ever. Lol. 🎸👍.
I've seen interviews with Lifeson and Geddy other places and Alex always cracks everyone up with his twisted sense of humor. A great and humble guy. One of the best people on the planet. If you ever read this, Alex, thanx for years of great music, humor and entertainment, both on and off the stage, vinyl, cassettes & CDs.
I know Canada is so proud of these guys, but we Americans love them too. One of the greatest rock bands ever!
Rick: Do you play Bass?
Alex: Too easy!
Both: lol
*Meanwhile somewhere else*
Geddy: I sense a disturbance in the force...
Alex IS the best because no one tops him in sheer vocabulary. Period. I thank God every day that I got to exist at the same time Rush did.
the USA has Metallica, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Motley Crue, etc
Canada has Rush. thats all we need
Hard to convey what these gifted guys and their work have meant to me, except to say that I am profoundly grateful.

Imagine being able to say that you played guitar hero with one of the best guitarists of all time.

Alex is a kool kat. Rush is a band of kool kats.
Ahh the things I would do to have a full day with my favorite guitarist ever.
complete with canadian style audience laughter track
It must be so cool to play your own song on Rockband!
"Did you ever do that"? "No, but I want to!" Priceless!
Both start smashing guitars against the T.V.
Rick: Do you ever do that?
Alex: No, but I want to!
Love how when Alex is playing Guitar Hero, his expression is "wtf is this shit??"
