I've had both - they are both great vehicles. Cars built by Nissan (Renault really) for the UK market are terrible, but the JDM models are fantastic.
If the choice is one around needing access for something with a disability, the Elgrand is the better vehicle. For any other use, it is down to your own preference and budget.
