They were obviously reruns bc the show ended a month and a week before my birth, and I wasn’t even a year and a half when he died. I very vaguely remember watching him as a very young child. Probably have not seen his show since I was like 5. I stopped watching it bc I discovered other shows that I liked better at the time. The other day, someone mentioned Mr Rogers on facebook. I have not seen him in AT LEAST 16-18 years at this point, so I decided to look him up and watch some episodes. After watching a few and reading about how kind he was and how he influenced so many people, I now regret not cherishing this precious angel enough when I was little. I SEVERELY under appreciated him, and now I’m so sad and feel deprived. I am now grieving over him and wishing he was still here. I wish I would have given him the appreciation he deserved when I was little. I hate it took me almost 23 years to realize how special he really was. I am going to make sure my future kids watch him and see how amazing and angelic he was. I love him so much🩷🩷
