Thank you sis! I touched them up after 5 weeks and then I took them out a week later because I was just over it lol but I'm sure you can touch them up maybe 2-3x

Yooo I wish my hair snapped back like this. I have dermatitis and my faux locs have been in my hair a month but my scalp is too far gone 🥴 I just have to bite the bullet and take them out 😭
Darn! But I mean at least they made it to a month!! That’s a good amount of time for one style

@@brittanyjackson8394 I usually wash my hair once a week and deep condition every time. I have to keep my scalp oiled and when even that doesn’t work I ...*pauses for dramatic effect* grease my scalp 🙊 and then proceed to braid my hair and leave it alone. That’s why I mostly do wigs these days.
Do you experience any breakage with doing the faux locs?? Every time I do braids I lose my edges even knotless. Looking for a style to help regrow my hair without stressing it.
I do not .I really thought I was though because this style is kind of heavy. The best protective style for me though is cornrows with a wig. that when my hair grows the most!
Ive heard that if you do touch ups and add more hair itll loc your natural hair..
I feel like that could be accurate if you do too many touch ups and leave them in too long. When I do my touch us, I only leave the style in for 1-2 weeks after
