I brought a 1953 RCA tv home and plugged it in. It worked for a little while then the flyback transformer shorted out and sent too much voltage to the picture tube and the tube exploded and sent out a fireball and blew the cabinet apart and glass came out so fast it stuck in the wall and some went in my left arm. Still have scars. Good thing I didn't have my face near it 🤣🤣. All in all it was pretty cool to see it happen though.
