Very Detailed Review Dear
Thanks for the Haylou RS5 review, Regan! Glad you're loving the sleek design and features. Enjoy exploring it! 🌟 #Haylou #Smartwatch
Thanks for the usual thorough unbiased review - one of the few youtube channels reviewing low cost tech that isn't a paid shill
Thank you! Yeah making money out of CZcams isn't my goal, which is a good job really as I'd be failing dismally 😭🤣
Can you skip music tracks from my phone on the smart watch many thanks 😊
Thank you for another great budget smart watch review!
Mister @@ReganCipher please review redmi buds 5 pro and galaxy buds fe , thx
@MemberOfGeniusSociety Galaxy Buds FE coming in my $100 comparison, I will try and get hold of the Redmi but it's a bit difficult here in UK 😭
@@ReganCipher in my country normal shop sell the buds fe below msrp around 50 us bucks which put the price roughly the same as redmi buds 5 pro also 50 us bucks
Buds fe normal price in my country around 75 usd bucks
@@MemberOfGeniusSociety Redmi Buds 5 Pro are nearly $100 here, Galaxy Buds FE are over $100 but I'm gonna get some from eBay 😁
My rs4 plus just died though it lasted for about 4 years, this rs5 was released at the right time for and it's a massive upgrade, am OK with the laggy user interface, my rs4 plus took a few firmware updates for it to run smoothly
The rs4 was released in march 2022. So you couldn't have owned it for 4 years!
So sorry i seem like i always bug you for recommendations.
Do you think the cmf watch by nothing is better than this?
Hi, currently using the RS4+ and one annoying thing about it is that it needed my phone connection to track cycling . Is that the same case with the RS5? its the only bumme of this watch tbh. Well and the ability to save notes from your phone on the watch
And one more thing, does the alarm feature allow use of the speaker too, or just vibration
I think it was just vibration. Unfortunately I don't have the watch any more to confirm though 😭
Is the RS4 Plus (more expensive) better in any way?
In this listing - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Ey7Pkap - there is a comparison there in the details, and it suggests the RS5 ticks many more boxes than the RS4 Plus, but I can't say for absolute certainty as I haven't tried it 😢
The Haylou RS5 and S8 are not smooth as the Haylou RS4 Plus i've tried all of them RS4 plus seems way smooth when you scroll on the menu and the animation are better i don't know i think it might be the cpu problem since the RS5 and S8 seems like they getting between 30hz and 40hz at top
@travis015 said the same. Sad times! BTW - thanks for watching and for commenting 🙌
can use for swimming?
It's ip68, which means you can submerge it (showers or baths are fine) but the added pressure from swimming is not something I would recommend. Haylou don't mention swimming anywhere in their marketing material so I would say no
Great review. Is it really better than rs4 plus?
Thank you! I didn't try the RS4 Plus, but someone in the comments here has and said other than a tiny bit more lag in the menu, it's much better. IIRC they also said the RS4+ had some lag until it was fixed with firmware updates, but like I said I can't say for sure as I didn't try it
Thanks for the reply man. I do have a thin wrist. Wearing big watches is a nightmare for me. It looks bigger even on your hands. I'm thinking of buying this one, but i got thin wrists.
@@adeebs8072 no worries! My wrist is pretty thin if that helps you judge the size (6.5")
It looks very laggy for some reason
I wouldn't say it feels laggy, but when you're scrolling down a long menu it feels like the scrolling speed accelerates after around 0.5s and then goes too fast so you have to kinda slow it down with your finger. Maybe that's what makes it look laggy, idk 😕
@@ReganCipheri have the rs4 plus and it looks way smother when it comes to animation it's weird because both of them have 60hz refresh rate i hope it's a software issue
@@Travis015
I was thinking the same thing
When they've advertised 60HZ and we aren't even getting it
Very good review. Thank you.
