Just on the basis of these clips...we don't know how he'd cope with a low block and not in transition with defenders backing off or out of position. Buying for squad depth is hard because that player may not get the minutes to adapt to PL...look at how long Diaby and Bailey have taken at Villa. Kudus has been an exception.
Arteta’s track record with wingers that he wants and that are young is insanely good. Sane, Saka, Sterling, Martinelli and now Trossard. With the emergence of a new Havertz i think Arteta should be trusted if he really wants him. Playing against low blocks can be coached in so thats a positive.
Girona are a high posession team that has faced a lot of low blocks.

There is not space we face low blocks every week which is why us and Man City who play similar stylistically have to use playmaker and dribblers as opposed to the wide forwards like Liverpool used with Mane and Salah.
We need a back up for Saka and for 25 million and at his age he is perfect. If he has a dodgy season we can sell him for what we pay next season and lose nothing.

City, Brighton, Spurs, Liverpool, Aston Villa unite. They all play with high pressure. There must be a player who is good at playing in space. We only have Martinelli, and unfortunately he was not good this season.
@@A7MD_AEDY City do not use runners into space anymore thats why they moved on Sterling, Sane, Mahrez and went for dribbler and playmaker types or dont run ahead of the ball as much. This season City's best forward line was Haaland who never runs any more and only goal hangs, Foden, De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva who are all playmaker types.
To me its a waste of time with how we play and facing a low block. Only City play like us the rest either play a different way or are not very good teams so they face teams who attack them and not just sit deep like what we face.
The reason Martinelli has struggled is because of this, he has no space to run into because teams respect us more now and start much deeper.
