PRO TIP: TURN THE KEY IGNITION TO ON let the fuel pump cycle and the gauges cycle and then start vehicle. This will help prevent a fuel pump failure and easier on the starter. If it's cold you will obviously have to wait for engine to preheat there should be a dash light for that. Also a little dash type fan on at night when your sleeping with help with air circulation so it's not stuffy when you wake up, assuming your not keeping back hatch open at night if so a bug screen should help with velcro straps to keep it in place and tight. If any confusion on the pro tip just google TURN THE KEY IGNITION TO ON let the fuel pump cycle and the gauges cycle and then start vehicle . . ., this may help give better understanding on fuel pressure and all that jazz.

I vehicle dwelled for 7 years. The less you have, the better. Half the fun is making due with the basics and making it work.

@@xpheonixgamingx325 step 1: buy your vehicle of choice. step 2: make enough money to last ya a while. step 3: drive to a place you like. step 4: get a job at your new location so you don’t run out of money. warehouses, restaurants, hotels, seasonal work, etc.
In the last video Glory was going to change from PJ's to day clothes and said something like "you got to put a ring on this [holding up fingers] to see whats under this", my respect immediately increased 10000 fold. Great videos, keep them coming.

Not trying to be negative but those excursions have serious problems with after market parts and upgrades. Try to keep it stock as possible mechanically.
Definitely can be an issue, but they're also super solid trucks. You might want to think about a two or three minute, warm up on the diesel truck wel definitely help the longevity. Cheers
This is not true. It’s f250 through and through. Haven’t had. Single issue with the rough country lift, or even the 5.4 (edit: forgot hers was 06, the 6.0 does not do good with more boost. Floats heads,)

I too was a little surprised when I saw Glory start the car and immediately throw it into gear, and I thought oh that's not good, somebody needs to tell her it's a really good to let your vehicle warm up for a little bit and the colder it is the longer you want to let it warm up. It really makes a difference. Hope she sees these comments!
@@feellnfroggy They leave the factory the way they should stay, when you swap out factory parts for upgrades it causes a domino effect and you'll be chasing problems until you're blue in the face. I've watched it happen to 90% of excursion owners. Lifts not so bad but turbos and exhausts and electronics will cause never ending nightmare in these.
mesh or screen material with velcro for when you have the hatch up or windows down.. no bugs!!

Full size SUVs are the best. I had a 2 door jeep and Now im driving a ford expedition EL. So much room and don’t need the roof top tent will enough space to easily sleep 2 and everything needed.
Just stumbled across this video, really well put together. Living on the road is one of the best decisions I made!

You should get new engine parts from Blessed performance they got everything you need for your kind of ford
i lived in my car and then truck and then van for 11 years traveling all over the country mountain biking, skiing, surfing, hiking, fishing.... it was before youtube, every week or so i would find work at a farm or a restaurant or anything i could find quick work, i would stay for a week, maybe two, earn enough to buy gas and food for a month and move on.

We live in great falls. and travel to white fish family cabin every summer. So you go thru Browning Reservation. Its so sad at the one grocery store. all the stray dogs. we keep little bags of dog food to feed them every time fueling up in browning. its like a running joke. Rez dogs of browning but we just got back from our yearly trip end of july. and so many more stray doggys then usual. anyway its heart breaking. im sure you have already seen
You could use a piece of fabric as a tea strainer, cheesecloth is good & doesn’t take up room.

Great vd Glory. For the bathroom camping situation you can buy a "bathroom tent". this will help you with privacy. Walmart most likely has them online or maybe in the stores where you are. ps just looked they are called "Privacy tents".

I think the more comfortable you make the inside of the truck and get creative with how you arrange and store things, the better you’ll feel about doing this long term. Finn definitely has a lot of room and depth to hook up that van.

So, about needing more space ...
You obviously have a ''home built'' roof rack using most likely EMT (conduit)
You are losing at least fifteen square feet of space on the roof in front of where the rack ends on the front side.
Solution ? First put in a floor. This is most easily done (providing you have a welder and know someone who can use it) by taking smaller tubing
and welding it in lengthwise.''on top'' of your existing bars that go from one side to the other. Welding in bars level with the existing bottom bars at this point is rather tedious and not really necessary.
Second you can extend the bottom bar forward at least another 3 feet, giving you another 3 by 5 feet of extra storage space.
Check this out ... Simply cut the bottom tubing, on each side, just in front of the joint where the 1st vertical tube joins the top and bottom tubes together. Then cut the other two front vertical tubes at the point where they meet the bottom tube in front and you begin to see that you are simply extending the bottom portion of your roof rack forward by 3 feet and welding in two '3 foot pieces' of same size tubing where the 1st cut was made.
Throw in another support bar (s) to the roof and you have a platform to mount your spare tire on, giving you way more room to store water proof boxes, firewood etc etc etc ... where the spare tire was mounted. Best part is you dont need to do anything with the top bar in front. Simple weld a cross bar to the two vertical posts where the forward bottom bar was previously located.
Walmart sells black watertight boxs cheep. You have room for at least four of them. They have hinges and latches and air vents already installed and can be secured with very affordable ratchet straps.
Overhead ''off road lights can be added whenever. Love where you are going with your build by the way ; )

5 gallon bucket,put two garbage bags inside the bucket .toilet seat lid that Clips on the top of the bucket, put 1 inch of kitty litter in the bottom. makes a very convenient toilet. Crazy how there will be no smell, kitty litter who would have Funk it.😂
