i'm glad that you mentioned this because many people label blackpink's choreo as easy, or fast to learn but the thing is blackpink and YG artists in general have this stage presence, swag and charisma that yeah, you might know the moves but to replicate what they do is really hard, anyone can copy the "easy" moves of YG artists but there is a saying that only YG artists can cover YG songs the right way, with that characteristic energy , swag and presence
Yes, and in addition if you realise that YG artists usually focus more into choreo that are more "trendy" or easy for us fans to follow. They have their signature or trademark for the songs. For example like Bigbang's Bang Bang Bang, 2ne1's Fire & IATB, Winner's Really Really, Ikon's Killing Me and BP's DDDD. You can easily know thats the choreo for that song by looking at the dance. Its easy for most of fans to follow but to have that swag or charisma is something you'll have to work hard for it.

Blackpink choreo is easy tho , the move its not really that complicated. But because their song is so strong so they need to dance with a lot of power, thats why in comeback stages they a little bit out of breath because their dance take so much energy ... #RIP my English 😭😂

Love how Rosé adds that extra spice to her moves whether it's a hair flip, hand movement, hip sway... subtle but it makes the moves hit differently. Love it. I think she does it even when it comes to her singing. And she doesn't skip the moves

For me Rosé is always the one my eyes go to during dance practices because of her bodylines! Her moves are so detached in a good way (her lower half moves separate from her top in a very controlled way).

The best part about lisa's dancing is she knows where and when to put her energy at. She don't just put all her energy everywhere unnecessarily. She knows when it's need and her moves are technically the most precise. She always told how the best dancer in the group should know to blend in the group and consider other dancers in the group who are weak. She holds back, so freaking much I can't wait for her to go on fully like in BBHMM. She ate it all up and everyone was whipped for the blonde girl, I hope we get that back so that some antis can just shut up, it will be the end for everyone when she gives her 100%. That's her power. Of course she is considered as one of the best dancer in kpop. No one from her group comes close to that title, lol.

Finally, someone explaining how unique lisa’s dance is. There is absolutely no one in k-pop who can dance like lisa. She does not only dance with good body lines but her own style and personality. Though what i like about her is that she does not over do it, she dances not just with her own style but it is also mixed with technicality and control :))

Yes. She’s not even trying so hard to shine, she’s just being natural and doesn’t overreact or exaggerate her moves and facial expressions. A real performer indeed.
I really adore Lisa’s dancing skills. She always give her 100% in every performance without exaggerating or overdoing the moves. Everything just comes out naturally, from the facial expressions to the moves. She can be fluid and sharp at the same time, her body control is literally amazing. Even her fingers know every beat lmao.

BP primarily uses two choreographers Kiel Tutin and Kyle Hanagami for most of their choreographies, who each choreograph the whole song and then they pick and choose what they want from both choreographies. Kill this Love was choreographed specifically by both of them using this format. I think they send them a video of the proposed choreography and they learn from the video, but I’m not sure on that aspect because both choreographers live in different parts of the world.
The way you and I are both jisoo stans! she gets so much flack for her voice, but her low, rustic tone juxtaposed to rose beautiful beading hum keeps me coming back to their music!
You can tell how great Bp is because they are only four but they are owning the stage as if there are tens of them dancing..their choreo is not suoer hard but they make it appear like a very strong dance

Accdg to Kiel Tutin (one of BP’s choreographers HYLT), the company usually taps several choreographers (like Kyle Hanagami, Parris Goebel and others) to make a routine and then the company’s resident dancers mix and match the routines from diff submissions or slightly modify it to fit BP.
