Me too!! I can't believe I've dragged my feet on finishing it for so long LOL, but I still remember so much of the plot so I'm not worried about that. I'm just excited to see how it all wraps up!
Reading Robin Hobb and Robert Jordan are always good! Now that I have reread half of the series, I'm looking forward for your Whee of Time reread thoughts :D
I love how active you've been in the discord! I know I haven't been very active but I do lurk sometimes LOL. Hopefully with my reread I will post thoughts as I go there!
I hope you enjoy ship of destiny I did I'm reading the rain water chronicles now dragon haven I'm also reading the broken eye by Brent weeks and firestarter going to read God emperor of dune and shadow of the gods in November
Yay for Murderbot! Such a fun series. And good to know that New Spring is part of the upcoming TV series. Sush & I are in the middle of Book #8 right now (I know, we're SO slowly working our way through), but I'll see if he wants to try to squeeze in New Spring before the show comes out.
Ninefox Gambit is sooo good. And I read The Silence of Bones in pretty much one day, I could not put it down. Same with The Forest of Lost Girls by the same author.
@@BedtimeBookworm I'll be looking forward to hearing your opinion. I found the details about korean history particularly interesting. I got the title of the second book wrong though, it's Forest of Stolen Girls... 😖 She's got a third book coming out in January, I'm so looking forward to it!
I just finished Nemesis Games last night. I started the series in January 2020 thanks to your recommendation. My library finally got their copies of Fugitive Telemetry in and I'm planning to read it next week.
Oh yay! Did you like Nemesis Games? I'm glad you're enjoying the series enough to have made it this far haha. Oooh fun, I hope you enjoy Fugitive Telemetry! Murderbot is always a fun time (IMO haha)
@@BedtimeBookworm Nemesis Games is very character driven and while it's not my fave the last 150-ish pages had me immediately ordering the next book from the library.
Ooh I'm interested in your thoughts on The Toll! And good to know that the Wheel of Time show is going to cover the first 3 books. I'm right now reading book 1 for the first time but I don't think I'll have time to get to books 2 and 3 before the show comes out 😅
I think most of the plot will be from book one, but they will introduce characters and some plots from the other books I believe. I wouldn't worry about rushing to finish more books in the series before watching the show! I really hope you enjoy both the books and the show! The books can be hit or miss with people so you never know. I'm excited to finish the toll too!! I think the ending has mixed reviews so I'm curious to see what I think!
@@BedtimeBookworm Oh I'm glad! I'm only 200 pages in but so far I'm enjoying it! The Toll definitely has mixed reviews. It wasn't my favorite in the series but there's still some good stuff in it.
The Bone Shard Daughter was so good, I just go the eArc for the 2nd one and I think I am going to jump right in ASAP! I am very interested to hear your thoughts on the Toll though!
Great TBR. I hadn't thought about adding New Spring into my TBR before watching the Wheel of Time. I need to pickup Ninefox Gambit. I've not heard good reviews about this book (and series), but I'm willing to give it a go. I just haven't been able to find it at my libraries. I'm really excited about The Imaginary Friend. I remember watching a book signing and reveal by the author with Emma Watson. She played one of the protagonists in the author's movie, Perks of Being a Wallflower...and got to spend a lot of time with Emma. She read the book early and became a big advocate for it. SO...that is interesting. I will definitely be reading it this month. The Silence of Bones is a really good story. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on it. Good to have you back doing Seasonal TBRs. Also great to see your reading times have improved. All our best to you on your upcoming health issues. Keep us informed.
I just know my memories of new spring are really fuzzy/minimal so I would like to refresh myself. Plus, I've always read it around book 10 (or whatever the publication order is) and I thought it could be fun to actually read it as a prequel this time. I'm surprised you're going to read Imaginary Friend! I would have guessed it was too spooky haha. I hope you like it! I'm not sure I will but we will see, I'm open minded.
It's definitely OKAY to read it first, but I don't think that would be my preferred order for the first read of the series... Tough choice! I think you would lack some context about the world and some of the things hinted at if you started there but that's just my opinion. I think you could still understand the story, I just think the story is more meaningful after you have spent more time in the world and with some of the characters that are in New Spring.
Yesss Ship of Destiny!!!
Can't wait to read it and share my thoughts with you and Stephanie!!
I can’t wait for you to finish The Toll! 😀

You have some great books on your list. Praying that your medical procedure goes well and you have a quick and full recovery.
Thank you so much, I hope so too! ☺

My guess is that there will be flashbacks to new spring maybe? I don't think you HAVE to read new spring 😊
@@BedtimeBookworm Good to know!
Leviathan Falls is the 9th and final book in the Expanse series! I’m so looking forward to seeing how it ends. It’s been a torturous wait.
Thanks for the clarification! That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. I hope you like the ending!!
So nice to see you back! I honestly didn't read for a good 6 months after I had a baby, so you are doing great!
Haha i'm still barely reading but some is better than none!
I say prioritize Nemesis Games because it’s pretty great!!
Noted! I'm not surprised to hear you say that LOL 😋
I'm reading Ship of Destiny either this month or next. :) And I can't wait to get to Bone Shard Daughter!
Ooh yay for both those books! I hope you enjoy them! 😊

Thanks!! I think so too 😊
