Found some red heart heat wave (heat generating) yarn in a clearance bin at Joanne's. Perfect with this pattern for helping with my arthritis when crocheting. I'll let you know how it works out.
How is it heat generating? Genuinely curious. If you can even remember, 2 years later!

I have watched several tutorials on fingerless and by far yours beats them all. Especially the one you crocheted with the entire body in sc and then added the scalloped top by the fingers very classy. I am making my daughters and adult grandaughters each a pair. Thank you for your tutorial! It comes at the right time of „The Great Reset“ and the coming cold winter without central heating, I expect. I did an extra shell border around the thumb. So I can keep playing my piano exercises… God bless!

I just love love how these turned out ❤ I did several you made it so easy to follow. I made sparklely red, and a dark teal, and white sparkle plus a very delicate off white. I love fingerless gloves (living in a warm state where the holiday time does get a bit chilly, these are perfect). I think I'll make them out of that beautiful red or green sparkle yarn you made the Christmas Trees out of last year, I think that would be so pretty. as gifts.

Thank you for a teaching video without music competing with your voice. That is something I find very hard because of a neurological disorder - it makes me feel dizzy and nauseous. Just the sound of quietness and then your voice telling me which stitches to make, is nice.
Although there was a very faint little, “heads, shoulders, knees and toes” song, by funny guy in the background. It really made me giggle 😅 - I love the sounds of family life occasionally because I live alone, and it’s a nice reminder of the rest of the world going on. Tell him it was fun! ❤

I did make one adjustment though. Following your instructions, I found the thumb hole quite uncomfortable no matter how I changed the stitches. I kept fiddling with it and finally came up with a comfortable solution...I only chained 3 for the thumb, and skipped 6 stitches instead of just 3. This allows the hand to decrease slightly by 3 stitches which I felt it needed because the way you did it made it bulky and large for my hand. Not to mention how great it now fits my thumb.
I love the hero hooks. I bought a storage unit of crochet and knitting a lady crochet an knitted for 40+ years never married or had any children so she crochet an knitted for years making everything for her neice an her neice kids an hubby_

I made 2 pairs of these fingerless gloves and had much fun doing so! Thanks very much for the pattern and extremely helpful tutorial. You are the best!
The only thing I did differently with my gloves is that I crocheted some height onto the thumb hole (about 3 rows plus SS’s to finish).
Now, to look for a simple scarf to go with them!

They turn out just like the picture. Mine doesn't fit tight enough around the palm so I took them in above the thumb hole before the scalloped edge. This will mess up the count so figure for that. Also with thin hands I skipped the increase all together after the wrist and they fit better around the palm and can stretch enough to not matter.
Very easy to follow and good first project. Red heart soft yarn made mine soft and smooth with shine. 3 sets, Purple, teal and tangerine. Just got some like yours/hers in black to try next.
