Remember the first time I saw capdown with Less Than Jake and Frenzal Rhomb at the UEA Norwich 2001. Helluva gig, good times.
these guys are amazing, one of the best gigs i went to was in derby it was capdown and lightyear. top draw
one of my favorate live bands of all time
@@thebatjon I know. It was a rarefied experienced that few people ever had. We were so lucky looking back. How ever many live bands I have seen since, none have ever beaten the Capdown live experience. It feels like we were the first and last people on the moon.
aww, this is my fave capdown video, it gets me right in the mood! i recently saw them at Moho live in manchester, and they were obviously amazing. Cant wait to see them at Leeds festival this sunday, SWEEEEEEEET! =)
Best show i ever saw was Lightyear (my personal favourite band OF ALL TIME), Capdown and Captain Everything in my home town. Blew the fucking roof off! Skacore revival soon please!
Seen these guys first time in Edinburgh at the Cas rock in 99 in front of about 8 people and they were fantastic as they always are, top blokes aswell!
Good band, their first 2 albums are really great.
The sax sounds so fucking good!
RIP best indie ska band of the last decade
Back in the day!!
I do believe that saxophanist (singer) Jake is self-taught on the sax and in a ska-core band, being incredibly accomplished at any instrument is hardly a neccesity. Its about making the music fun and lively!
これ聴いてどうやって寝るの?
寝ずに仕事した方が楽になるぐらいだ。
link 80 was fucking intense
i went to that tour - was awesome!
I've seen them at two small venues in the uk.. it wasn't so long ago!
i saw them at coleford music festival
Colour me amazed.
the world needs another ska revival
Seeing these guys tonight.
was there at their last ever gig, boooyah
yes paul..
you guys are seriously so good! I stumbled upon your music one day and love all your songs, I seriously think youre as good or better than any big ska band like streetlight or rbf
Imagine finding a great ska core band that is even better live than their EPs. That was Capdown. The mosh pits were huge and we would dance all night long. The energy was so intense live that you remember them for life. It was beyond sublime, they were life-changing and those of us that look cannot believe how lucky we were. They were better than any band around in the WORLD at the time, and nobody has ever come close to the experience, the energy, the musicianship and the atmosphere that was electric. It was not just special, it was a seminal moment in culture and music history.
@@SC-hk6ui The current UK ska punk scene owes so much to these guys for reviving the genre post-2 tone
how many of you went to the last ever gig at the pitz on the 7th?
i was there and it was SICK
they would be perfect for EXIT festival! :D
Top banana

The Live in MK music CD is my favourite of all time. At parties we would dance to it. Still listen to it even now.
Gawd, was that at the portland arms?
Ska :')
They are fucking crazy!!!
Too bad they've split..
That's an alto sax isn't it?
yeah wind up toys was shit but they were a great band back in the day even though i preffered lightyear
if you were in a ska-core band who made awesome songs, wouldn't you get someone to dance on stage?
2 people dont know what is ska
the biggest loss to english underground music. you will be missed!
yeh, capdown, the fucking kings of uk ska and fast punk... should learn some jazz?
absolutely fantastic! Back when Capdown were playing small venues and everything super fast. So raw and energetic. Love it!!!
