Unfortunately most of us don't have NASA spec quantum supercomputers powerful enough to run RTX above 4 fps without our PC setting on fire. I guess I will have to settle for playing remastered on PS5 like a console peasant but as long as me and Lara are together on Valentines day I will be one happy chappy regardless 😂

Remix = better lighting
Remastered = everything else
And the lightning doesn´t look not even better in every ocation. Imho its way to overblown. Ther is a lack of atmothpere in some instances. But still great to see this!
Remix is lame coz it has fire torches in tombs that no one has been in 😂

That would be more like it, however I don't think Remix will work with the remaster since it's likely to be DX12 even though I haven't searched for it, but they still could rip the textures and the character models and maybe import into the Nvidia Remix, no idea...

Remix trying too hard by adding light resources for no reason, it also reminds me of RTX Minecraft. Remastered all the way.
Something in between would be perfect.
Adding light torches to an uncharted old cave doesn't make sense.

RTX seems a bit too crazy with its lighting. Legit get eye-burns on some sections

Remix = The light that follows her. she doesn’t have a flashlight. I guess her bust size is her flashlight 😅
I like the remaster better, but I really wish there was an option for a flashlight.

The RTX Remix destroyed the complete atmosphere.
TR Remastered is a huge and respectable work, not compare this to the gta trilogy or RTX bullshits.
Except the cutscenes where they still kept their weird moving head animations

@@Saroku1000 Nope, they add facial animations. I read they are going to remove all that head moving, but for me not a problem
Remix adds lights for no reason
Since it's pathtracing, it's probably to prevent the dark areas from being pitch-black
I do like the fire lighting.
I want remastered with remix lighting
Here's hoping for a raytracing mod / patch for the Remaster some time in the near future.
Not a fan of all the lights added by RTX Remix but it still looks more interesting to me. And I like the "modern pixel art" style like Octopath Traveler.

I think I prefer the remastered. I appreciate the work gone in. But I don't like the additional lights having to br added just to get it functional such as a flashlight etc. I think raytraced shadows and reflections would work well as a nice "in-between".

The lighting changes they made in the remaster completely baffle me, the lighting is just objectively worse in every way. It makes such a difference. The original lighting makes the game feel much warmer.

Cheaper to remake than to build from scratch, also the millennials are the original gamers so if you want to cash-in on millennials again remake their favorite games.
Cause Modern Games suck, they’re overpriced, repetitive, uncreative, cliche, and also over way too fast.
Most modern AAA games are pretty underwhelming, buggy, and have usually little future support unless they manage to sell well. Even then games like call of duty and battlefield there only up for about 2 years at most. Then people move onto the next call of duty or battlefield game.
