More recently, you may recognize the dude as Troy from "Community" on NBC.
For his new album "Culdesac", Donald transforms into a soulful rhyme spitter that drops bars over indie synth and electro driven tracks. All kinds of win.
The video above is an acoustic rendition of the track "Got This Money", recorded live from their hotel room.

This is crazy, dude on guitar (ludwig) went on and scored the black panther movie and we all know how successful glover is, starring in a star wars movie and about to star in the new lion king movie.
He also worked with donald glover on some of his music
Doctor Doom yeah he’s done a lot with Gambino, pretty sure he’s been the executive producer for all of his work from Culdesac onward. He also added things like the guitar solo at the end of Worst Guys.

I love the performance and did when it was new, but he also has improved his singing a ton which just shows how much he works on his craft.

I can't believe you don't like Community. I started listening to Childish Gambino early this year and got hooked. So hooked that I remember people always talking about the show, I of course had to watch it and it quickly became one of my favorite show. It's extremely funny, very smart, contains a lot of easter eggs, and it's very unique. But hey, everyone is entitled to their opinions right?
