youll like the headlights once they take that wrap off. they did a good job at hiding the best parts of the design

You are correct, those plastic things are a european thing, the weels may not stick out too much of the vehicle, and thats the solution from vw for this rule, sorry my english is not so good
That screen is entirely too big. As an mk8 GTI owner I have the S trim infotainment and the smaller screen is perfect. I don’t even know why you would want that huge screen. That would be like having an iPad for a cell phone. Otherwise I don’t mind what I can see of everything else.
I also love the tiny screen on my 40AE. No como here haha
I agree with your comment and I also have the 40th and a 2022 S and I definitely like the smaller screen as well the big screen seems like a safety hazard personally not only for people tempted to use it instead of drive but like I said in the video I think it would block some of your view out of the windshield

And of course we've been told the 6 speed manual will not be apart of this 8.5 revision. It would be nice to get a confirmation of this now that these early promo photos are being released. I'm seriously thinking about picking up a 2024 380-S to replace my MK6 DSG 2 door. If I knew the manual was sticking :) around, I'd hold off a bit to see the 8.5 in person.
Yes I did forget to mention the fact that the manual transmission unfortunately is being dropped out of the line up. I am super excited to actually see one when they start being delivered !

the rear lights are actually covered in this pic they will look like the current gens tail lights

The exterior is fine but the interior changes are a downgrade. The buttons on the wheel actually look worse and the problem is the lack of buttons on the ac/volume not the wheel. Also the screen just looks too big, idk
Bro first of all really appreciate your videos as I’m an owner of mk 8 GTI myself , I have a question about my cars suspension in winter as I drive on uneven road (not good quality roads in some European roads ) I hear some noises from the suspension , I went to the dealership they checked it and said everything is fine ! But the noise is annoying as it is a new car , do you have knowledge about this you can help me with ? My car has adaptive suspension, thanks and hope you can help me with some info . Keep up the good work !

I did develop minor noises when I lowered my car but it’s nothing I’d be concerned over. If you could get a video or better description so I could compare that’d be awesome!

Hi, I also have a Mk 8 GTI, on 19’s with Dynamic Chassis Control. I’d talk to another VW dealership regarding your suspension noises. I’ve done 40k in mine now and have never had any issues or noises from the suspension so it’s not a case that ‘they all do that’
