    What's that "bracket" for lack of a better word that holds the phone and camera together? I want one. waiting for your reply thanks for the video.

    Great tips. But I would like to expand on your examples for use of the full lock feature which is turned on by holding down the joystick. (No.1 missing feature of the P3 is the ability to get full lock without having to hold down the joystick continuously). Here are two examples. One, try pointing the camera at the scene of interest. Then hold down the joystick and walk round the camera anti clockwise. The gimbal head will stay pointing at the scene, and you will appear to walk into the picture as you begin talking about the scene. It is like having the camera on a tripod, but you don't have to carry one. Two, you can point the camera at the starting point of the shot, then turn a bit while holding down the joystick, then pan in the direction you are now facing in, potentially allowing you to pan the gimbal further round than would have been possible from the original position. Cheers!

    Don’t forget that in Tilt lock mode, you can get a very useful jib effect by moving the camera vertically…

    Good tutorial friend, what techniques can we use when we walk with the camera to hide the steps we take, give us a tutorial on this topic friend. 13:28.

      The gimbal does not stabilize up/down walking movement - for that you need to use a gimbal walking technique (AKA "ninja walk") or attach another stabilizer to the P3

    Could you recommend a windscreen mount for the Pocket 3, to film vlogs inside a vehicle please?

  • @SueAndSarah
    @SueAndSarah Před 10 dny

    Are you able to suggest a solution to a problem please? We purchased the Osmo Creator Combo package. As you know that comes with 1 microphone. However, we are often "chatting" on our vlogs and probably each have our own pin on microphone.
    Can we buy a Bluetooth microphone and just add it on to the second microphone setup?
    Not sure if we need receivers, etc. That would make the Osmo quite annoying to carry around.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated 👍

    Thanks for the video. Great tips! One thing I have figured out, that no one else seems to have discovered, is that the camera actually has 4 mics onboard. The settings are Front, Front and Back, and All. Meaning there are mics on the front and back and the sides. 4 mics. Am I wrong? Thanks again. Blessings.

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  Před měsícem

      There's 3 mics DJi say "Pocket 3 adopts a built-in three-mic array, which can effectively reduce wind noise and record omnidirectional stereo sound. Even in noisy environments like concerts, it can precisely identify sound sources to give you more immersive audio"

    • @dollarsmovies
      @dollarsmovies Před měsícem

      @@JasonRobertsVideo If you and DJI say so. I just think it's a bit confusing when the settings are FRONT, FRONT AND BACK, AND ALL. I will say that I have gotten great results with the onboard mics in a concert I recorded in a bar situation. The immersive sound seemed perfectly mixed, and all I had to do is turn it on as start recording. Thanks again for your videos.

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  Před měsícem

      Yes it is confusing! I'm guessing there's some audio processing going on to get the front/front and back :) :)

    I’ve been struggling to save focus mode in custom settings. Something I consider important. Unfortunately I find saving your own custom settings doesn’t include the focus mode ! WTF !

    Jason wich mode is good for dancing?

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  Před měsícem

      Depends on the effects that you want to get - for high energy dance where you want a more stylized video then you could go full FPV mode, for ballroom you might want more slow smooth tilt locked style.

    • @JasonRobertsVideo
      @JasonRobertsVideo  Před měsícem +1

      Depends on the definition of "pro" I think, for example pro landscape photographer and CZcamsr Thomas Heaton uses a Pocket 3 to film with (alongside other cameras).
