  • The American city of Baltimore, Maryland, is notorious for its significantly high crime rate which ranks well above the national average. Violent crime spiked in 2015 after the death of Freddie Gray on April 19, 2015, which touched off riots and an increase in murders. The city recorded 348 homicides in 2019, a number second only to the number recorded in 1993 when the population was nearly 125,000 higher.

    This is pure gold. I was born and raised for the most part here in Baltimore. I've showed my mom, who is 71 and can't get out of the bed these videos, and it really gave her life looking back at the old clothes, cars, and news. She's like, yes, yes... that's exactly how it was. And still... times were so much better than now. Thank you for these. - from me and mom's 🥰 💕

I am genuinely curious, it sounds silly to me, as if Democrats are responsible for all of America’s problems, and particularly for black peoples problems sounds silly as Black people in the US remain in the same position as a whole regardless of which party is in power. They are two wheels on the same bicycle. Simplistic thinking like that is not the answer. Critical thinking is necessary, and not just swallowing what conservatives tell you.

    1st story- If we know that we are unable to care for children, use birth control, if you decide to have sex-it's that simple. No excuses, because birth control is one thing that we have always been able to receive for little of nothing or free. We've repeatedly seen first-hand how having babies BEFORE building our establishment destroys families, especially when having children with men who have repeated the cycle of not taking care of or helping out with their children. Why have more babies, when you can barely take care of one? Some things we can't blame on the government or USA, repeated pregnancies is on of them. I'm confused. I will never understand that.

      Maybe the feeling of “it won’t happen to me”? Idk, but I agree people need to be accountable for their actions. But we live in this chaotic world :(

    • @traciemartin3785
      @traciemartin3785 Před 2 lety +5

      @@danielblake1537 It's not about being perfect, it's about taking accountability for our own decisions. If we are not forced to have sex(rap**) & CHOOSE to have "unprotected" sex and we happen to get pregnant, we can't blame the government for our decision to do so. If we CHOOSE to have unprotected sex REPEATEDLY(especially with a man or woman who has chosen not to help take care of the first ones they help create) then we DEFINITELY shouldn't walk around blaming the government & others for our own decisions. Once MAY be a mistake, twice and more is a habit and choice we've purposely made. One doesn't have to be perfect to have common sense enough to use birth control that doesn't cost much or is free to most, especially after having one child. If we choose to continue to have unprotected sex and chance having babies, especially more than one, then we can't whine and blame the government or anyone else, except ourselves.

    • @traciemartin3785
      @traciemartin3785 Před 2 lety +4

      @@Onlylettuce92 So true. Exactly. That is why we should choose to make better choices of having protected sex, so that we will not add to the possible chaos of our lives. Unless a person is raped, sex(unprotected or not) is one of the things we have complete control over. The government, our parents, grandparents, friends & loved can't choose to make that decision for us. That is one thing that is all up to us to decide on.
