I hope this video gives you a good idea of what you can expect. A lot of the pictures the seller put out are misleading but I was pleased with this seller all the same. I think it can be customized pretty easily too, the cover distressed, etc.

I think this may have been copied from the diary that came with the Lucasarts computer game. It was not leatherbound but the contents look identical and they came straight from Lucasfilm.

Oh Wait! Just one more. Maybe a look at the old silent movie comedians, Harold Lloyd 'Safety First' he who hung from the second hand in that iconic photo, that movie was a sight gag per second it seemed. Buster Keeton too. Think you did ask for suggestions, can't believe those guys survived their movies, did they have stand ins or body doubles or stunt men? I believe that they did not, why would they even think that! Not like NFL quarterbacks and all other protected ones.
Yes a great idea. I had a vhs set when I was a kid of Harold Lloyd/Fatty Arbuckle movies and treasured it because back then it was nearly impossible to find and watch these movies.

That diary or notebook seems far too detailed to be a movie prop, I probably don't understand how something that's important to the story but is only a prop warrants such detail, your presentation of the Ninth Gate book started me thinking of these things. It's fascinating just the same. Never really thought about the props before. More goes into making quality stories and maybe movies than I ever thought! This old Dog is learning some new tricks afterall. If you post them, I will watch them. Oh , I'll probably comment as well, fair warning.
Oh just one more thing, haven't clicked on your drawing videos yet, intend to do so. My art is making damage to hotel furniture disappear and make them close to as new as I can, repairing beat up doors in Cape Cod now. Been doing this for maybe 30 years now and one fact that I've discovered and will always hold true is that guests don't hurt up the furniture, the hotel staff holds that honor. Sorry, just venting. Sure there's another site for this kind of foolishness.
Yes another comment here suggests it might have been grabbed from an old Lucas film pc game. The Ninth Gate book I reviewed was made in Italy by a huge fan of the movie.

I am a big fan of Indiana Jones especially the Last Crusade. One of the significant things about the movie was Indiana Jones accidentally having Hitler sign the diary in the movie. However, I am sorry to tell you that this is not in your replica. At least it is not on the right page if the signature is in there. At 25:40 you show the page on the right that is supposed to have the signature of Hitler written in pencil and it is not there. I don't know if this matters to you but it would to me.
Yes I think the diary I purchased was supposed to be the one Indy just opened from his mail before his adventure in Europe and the book burning scene
