Kinda seems like he was being pushed to tell his story. Body language was kinda saying he was getting a lil frustrated with it, too. 🤷. Him like a lot of comedians just wanna have you laughing so the problems you have in your life kinda just fade away. TY Rodney for helping with that.

Agree with the other commenters regarding interruptions from the host. However, this is the most real conversation I have ever seen/heard on a podcast. Super glad to see Rodney healthy and happy! Been a fan since I first heard him in the late 90s-early 2000s. Thanks for the decades of laughter brother and I look forward to seeing you live again soon! God bless!

Discovering Rodney with Dear Pen!s was the best time of my life 😆 Since that day I then introduced my nephew to rodney, and since, together we watched his videos (not once but many hundreds of times) we had so many late nights drinking together laughing, so many memories. We've laughed so much with rodney and I thank him for that. I've so much respect for the guy and what he's done. All his songs with meaning and for laughs have got us both and many others through life's ups and downs 🙏❤️
It feels strange hearing Rodney so serious. Perhaps he missed his second calling...psychology! He makes total sense though. Love his comedy. There is nobody who can make me laugh more! Thanks for the interview and allowing us to hear the life of this legend!

I love the show-I appreciate all the dialogue between you two- we are always learning, if we listen more than talk. My WW2 Disabled Veteran father told me, “God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason.” He also said, believe nothing you hear, and only half of what you see. Love the show

Clinton I enjoy listening to your podcast and I've loved and appreciated your horsemanship tactics they have been a huge help. I am a Rodney fan he is my go to when I need a good laugh, and like you said truth and comedy go good together. It pisses me off in a huge way when people disrespect our country, but it infuriates me when Fucking grown ups ruin the minds of our children by telling them they are the opposite sex! Grown ups that do this need a serious ass kicking!!

I have always wanted to see Rodney live... Just got the chance and saw him last week... It was the dirtiest filthiest show that I have ever been to...But I have to tell you THIS... this man IS GIFTED!! HE HAS A BEAUTIFUL VOICE... and such an amazing gift of laughter... I love to see him in this light and serious...
Glad I wasn’t the only one that thought this guy talks way to much, looked like even Rodney was getting annoyed by him. I took me 4 times to watch the whole interview
I can relate to the waking up in weird places. When I hauled racehorses OTR as a team driver we stayed in tons of hotels if we weren't driving. Where are we? Who knows, I may have gone to sleep in New York, woke up for a few minutes to unload horses in Pennsylvania, then go back to sleep until Virginia when it's my turn to drive, only to go sleep in a hotel in Florida twelve hours later. Showers are the worst for me while groggy. I'll open my eyes after shampooing my hair and become disoriented because I can't remember how the shower is set up in my apartment.

I bought a storage building where a guy had died and all his stuff was in it. He filmed a movie but never got it finished. As I was going through it looking at all the pics and I started finding their names. And with google I found some of their phone numbers and they all flipped out because they said he just dropped off the face of the earth. Anyway it was the first movie that Bernie Mac was in.
An hour in and I can tell Rodney's getting a little frustrated with the interruptions
This is got to be the worst interviewer I have ever seen, he asks a question and then ask 10 more follow-up question and then asks another question, and then gives his perspective

So I’m sitting here listening to this podcast and driving down the road heading to Florida . I left town ( in Utah)with $700 in my bank account and I have to make it to Florida and back up to Montana on the $700. I’m about ready drive my truck in to the fucking wall OK Wondering how the fuck an I going pay for this. I was about ready to bust out in tears. My wife called with shit tons of work. My phone started ringing off the hook with shit tons of work. I hope to one day be invited to your show because I just started this business and I am literally scratching my way to the top. I think you’re a cool motherfucker and I can’t wait to meet you and tell you my story.
