What should be my next Lil Dicky reaction🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ Drop it below 👇🏽👇🏽
Bruh
The antagonist or how can you sleep (technically by his alter ego “Brain”). Both show a more serious side of dicky and they really show off his lyrical talents
Do Molly or Ex Boyfriend
React to lil dicky molly it’s deep
Antagonist for more like that.
The reason why I'd reccomend Cypher, is cause in the video. You can see that he hasn't grown into his skin yet. He was Lil, but he wasn't dicky yet. And seeing him perform from that perspective is awesome.
His story telling ability is incredible. I still think people are sleeping on his lyricism tho for real he's a monster
dennis pugh couldn’t have said it better
This song was more than full of punchlines, wordplay, bars and lyricism and no one in the world can argue with that
Hes nasty and people dont see it. Hes is a beast.
He should focus on these type of songs instead of the comedy rap imo. He still has a lot of potential
@@gottthacatchthemalll while this is one of his best songs it doesn't have alot of commercial success, he would have much less success in the rap game if he stuck to this style. Plus it tv series Dave seems to be exploring both sides of him move evenly then his music.
The whole Russell Westbrook section was a metaphor to Dicky's life. In reality, Westbrook grew up in the spotlight (UCLA) and played basketball forever. In the track, Dicky is saying what if Russell was on a farm, knew nothing about basketball, only cared for the farm, and then one day discovered basketball. When he discovered it, he loved it. It was fun. Then, it got serious bc he got attention for being amazing at it, and eventually it became his career (OKC) and he left the farm. Dicky (Russell) was on his farm (comedy) and discovered basketball (rap). He tried it and he loved it. He was really good at it, and he blew up (ESPN, OKC) and then it ended up being his career. He left his farm behind (comedy) to pursue basketball (rap).
SureShotFiggy YT and at the end he says “who’s taking care of my farm?” And now he has his Comedy show “Dave” coming out. It’s genius
Geezum The Great I know I love it and Dave is funny as shit
Fidel V3 wow how Observant of you lmao dumb ass you don’t need to point that out my guy.
Yuuuri you’re late, fuck off
Geezum The Great and? Seems as if your a bit Contradicting fuck eh? How about you buzz off peasant.
This was the song that made everybody stop and realize, "OH SHIT...this dude is a rapper" and it honestly is perfect. It gives me chills every time I hear it and it's cool coming back and watching a genuine reaction from somebody that appreciates it.
This and Really Scared
Brian and make belief
Completely agree! Well said
Listen to his album professional rapper. Theres some serious songs on there like this
Love that last line, “who’s taking care of my farm?”. It’s so easy to get caught up in your goals and dreams, looking out for others is just as important.
well said
Never thought about like that, u just changed my whole perspective of that line bro
The farm is his comedy career. The whole westbrook analogy is supposed to represent that he stumbled upon something he’s great at by accident and leaving behind his original life. He still wants to be a comedian despite his notoriety and proficiency as a rapper.
@@levelwithme8535No the farm is his normal life if he never pursued fame. "Not even a plan it was more of a formality"
LIL DICKY PROFESSIONAL RAPPER IS A MUST
Nah that's so basic nowadays
Charlie Taylor shut up stupid bitch
Yeah Fr
That song is mad over played
Bailen Ganeshappa stop
It’s really annoying how this song is not a mainstream song
Fucking incredible song
Fucking incredible artist
It's my favourite Lil Dicky song, and I'm pretty sure it's simply because it isn't on mainstream streaming services such as Spotify.
Alot of his early songs and first mixtape can't be "mainstream" or on mainstream platforms because he doesn't own the rights to the beats and whatnot. This beat is a drake/jay Z song pound cake. Likely used known beats as a way to draw attention to his music by selecting very popular beats that were massively successful while also having a chance to highlight his lyrical talents and prove he is as lyrically talented as some of the best rappers by taking on the challenge of rapping on such prolific beats. It's a calculated risk to bring attention to his music and launch his career
If you would like to know what Lil Dicky's intentions are, listen to Professional Rapper ft Snoop Dogg!
Freek Stap yeas I know every word
This ^
Omg yes
I know every word lol
dude yes he needs to react to it if he hasn't heard of already
"He knew that he had found him" is my favorite line.
I keep waiting to see whether or not that line is going to hit others the way it hits me. First time I heard it I got a little emotional.
@@D1vid3By0 highkey I remember listening to this song when I would go from Tallahassee to Miami and I’d look out the window and wonder what if you all my dreams.
@@thewriter8762 fr bro
💯

dawg i really enjoy ur commentary sometimes, like when u hear a lyric and can resonate and you're open with ur audience...
Keep it up ma guy love your real reactions
Lil Dicky- Pillow Talk wont regret it 🔥🔥🔥
Molly by lil dickie And brandon . its fire man . its one of my favorite songs.
When Lil Dicky dropped this, it was kind of like a reality check.
Shit got real..
The whole bit about ESPN calling up Russell Westbrook is a reference to XXL getting a hold of Dicky. I love how this song ends with him wondering about the farm, that was his whole world before he discovered basketball. And that reminder of what we leave behind when we move on. It's a really poignant line.
"He knew that he had found him" was such a great line..
6:43
"213 thousand"
sitting at 1.75 million
he's come such a long way I love it
I’ve been waiting so long for this reaction, I love this song!
Yo fam...I appreciate how you introspectively look deeper into the music like this. This is the hallmark of true hip hop... storytelling, relational stories. Nice work dun...
React to Lil dicky Molly very different from the stuff he usually does.
Ohhh Molly hits fucking hard.
Love the reaction. Very introspective and helpful to everyone that just needs a little bit of motivation. I also loved the farm/basketball analogy. You really never know what you’re capable of until you give something a try. But no matter the success you claim, never forget your roots. You have old friends and family that very much care for the person you were before success grabbed ahold of you.
Just want to say that your reactions are the best, man. You dont just repeat what they've said like everyone else. You listen, analyze, interpret, and iterate it back. Well done, sir.
First time I ever got to see one of your videos, and honestly dude I’m blown away. Your personality is amazing, your analysis is so on point, and I love how you connect perfectly with the message.
There was no way I could close the video without subscribing. Really cool stuff man.
Yoooo you’re the dude that used to always be on my fyp tryna teach me math lmao
same here
That "greatness ain't about cake" hit you like mama's back hand.
YES!!!! Thank you for doing this!!! Love your reactions and love LD!
The thing I love about reaction to this song is that it always makes the reactor reflect on his/her own life.
Lil dicky - Make Believe
Has the same cover and he goes off, lil dicky fans will know
👇🏻
Michael Weldon Lil Dicky - Make Belief** Gotta do this song.
I agree with this statement
YESSSSSS Been waiting for this one!!! And been requesting it and saw it being requested, super happy how much you listen to your fans! Keep up the great work man!
One of the best reactions and songs I’ve heard from you man, thank you. This made my day! Such a good loop
WITT LOWRY PIECE OF MIND 3
HE GOES OFFFFFFFFF
That is probably the most aggressive song I've ever herd lol 😂😂, it's amazing
I remember watching this when it came out. Both the song and this reactions. It's been a long time since the song dropped but it doesn't feel like 9 years damn.
9 years wtff🤯
This side of Dicky was crucial af. I know he's doing his thing with his comedy, but nothing he's done 2017 after comes close to these early pieces.
Man, you know it’s a great song when it makes you think about your life and at the same time motivates you.
Listen to Molly and Professional Rapper. Great songs by lil dicky
You should check out How Can U Sleep by Lil Dicky feat the Game
This is my favorite reaction video by you so far. Not shitting on the other ones, but it just seems like the rap by Lil Dicky actually made you think of your life and we got to see that. Which is what music is ultimately for, to be an impact on ourselves and how we can relate.
Came back to watch this again and it blows me away you had 213k subs when you dropped this and now in less than a year you have like 4x that amount. FIRE SQUAD IS GROWING AND THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!
Plz React to Witt Lowry Numb. This track is dope. 🔥🔥🔥Dope beat. Dope lyrics🔥🔥🔥
Tristan * lmao listen to it bud
Lol just take a listen. Then reply back
Not a big fan. Fall Out Boy of Rap.
I’m late but Fall out boy of rap ? So you mean Absolutely Goated ? Lol sit down boi grow uo
Take a look at “The Antagonist”. It’s a follow up perspective on how once he’s made it, he feels there’s no one trying to give him competition or hate because his niche is so unique and different
Yknow what I like about this guy's reaction. He responds to the music "right" like hes having a conversation with the flow.
dude this is why you are my favorite reaction channel. You are so real and raw and your reactions have valuable insight and meaning it isnt just fake "OMG" crap. Seriously you are one of the few i get hyped about new videos. Thank you man ♥
that was a hardcore pass, ive never heard that side of him either. i love seeing lyrics hit you and you just have to take a minute to talk about it. exact reason ive been watching you nonestop lately!
Most underrated beat in rap history
Matt Linder 1 year later and it still goes so hard
I feel you.

Been waiting on this one to drop for a hot minute! Glad to see you react to this! Thanks for the video homie!
You fr understand music and you're so wise. One of the best CZcamsrs out there 💯
Another song that lil dicky goes deep too is Really Scared. Definitely would give it a listen one of his best stuff
Pedro Augusto Santos people always seem to skip over this track, and it’s one of my favorites by him. It’s such a complete track imo.
This is my first time hearing him too he’s 🔥
You’ve been an inspiration LayedBakDFR ... , I lost my pops when I was 10 I am now 21 , and you helped me out so many times
I watched this video the day it came out… I’m happy for you bro, I subbed at like 100-150k subscribers and hear you say that you just got 200k in this video and now watching you sit at 2.17 million subscribers makes my heart feel good man. You are awesome man! Keep everything going.
React to "How Can U Sleep" w/ Lil Dicky & The Game
You want more songs like this? Try Lil Dicky’s ‘The Antagonist’
Great reaction bro. Definitely subbed after watching this. Was good to see an insight not only comimg from lil dicky but from yourself too, the insight before you actually make it big, with your layout and setup the way you react, will only breed more success. Onwards and upwards from here 👍
Awesome reaction man. Been watching you for months. This one helped us relate! Keep it up Lay!
*Professional Rapper* or *Bruh* by *Lil Dicky* are the ones that i like the most so i think u should react to them
Definitely Bruh
Aayyyyyyyyy.
Whats up noti. Squad.
Love your reaction and analyzing every line. This is a great break down keep these coming.
BRO 215K!!!! GOOD SHIT MAN IVE BEEN HERE SINCE 198K WOW ......keep up the great .. something you already know lol. im hella happy I found ya bro ... you seem honest AF and your reactions are dope . congrats on all your success and its gonna well deserve when you hit 1million subs.
Bmike - ''story of erica'' AND ''Therapy'' are really good tracks.
I will keep requesting BMike until you try some of his songs. #firesquad
I also like anxiety very much. I just think that therapy maybe would be a bit more interesting for layedbak to listen to.
Can’t forget
Forgive me by bmike
Lil Dicky x Brain - How Can U Sleep (ft. The Game) is another one i think Dicky snapped on
Your best reaction video I have seen so far. I love how you added your own personal philosophy and insight.
Sooo dope, been one of my faves for a while. Dicky need more like this
his best song fr
It’s a very close tie between LayedBak, NoLifeShaq, and Crypt for these reactions. 3 best reactors hands down!!! 🔥💯💯💯 #FireSquad
Can’t forget the LawTwinz
Complex Ambition is good too
C.J. Sjerven LawTwinz are lit 🔥💯 just I’m more of a LayedBak guy myself 💯🤷♂️
SSj Naruto oh for sure, I can respect that
J sizzle too lol
Love learning more about what got you where you are. Thanks for sharing your story!
Im really hammered watching you bro
Thanks for your vídeos, you help a brother out by not reacting to stuff alone.
PropZ from Portugal❤️🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
If u havent look up e-dubble, he passed away a few years ago but was extremely gifted, robots cant drink from his freestyle fridays is a pretty crazy track imo
be a king was amazing
Damn I got nostalgia reading your comment RIP Dupple ☹️
You should react to bruh or another freestyle if you feel like doing more lile dicky reactions, keep up the good work
Yo LayedBak. This song speaks to me on a personal level. I have yet to find that passion for the thing that I love. I don’t even know what that is. Just listening to the song gives me goosebumps. Especially the “Who’s taking care of my farm?” At the end. Reason being because the way I interpreted it is that through all the fame and wealth he’s got, he still remembers where he came from and misses it despite all the success.
finally my man. been requesting this for weeks!
Lil dicky “bruh” 👍👍👍👍
This song gives me goosebumps
By far one of the best reaction videos I have watched. Subbed!
Dude. I'm diggin' everything on your channel. I've been watching pretty much every reaction video you're putting out. Holy shit that's so awesome you're at where you are. As a pop punk singer/artist myself but yeeeeeeears ago; my favorite line in this song is the comparison to writer's block and how your pen doesn't work at first but after you scratch it a few times the ink actually hits the page. That hits me. Any way. Love your channel my man; keep doing what you're doing :D
Lil Dicky - Make Believe!
It's not "new" but I'd love to see you react to Wake Up by iamjakehill :)
A box of Soap I would love for him to go on a spree of reacting to Jake Hill’a songs they are all so good
Also a spree of Josh A’s songs.
Honestly, best reaction video I’ve seen on CZcams. I’m subscribing, everything looks professional on this channel I love it
Watching old videos and listening to you go deep about these lyrics in relations to you and this video isn't even a year old. 200k subs less than a year ago. You're over 800k now. Push for the 1M before that year rolls, you deserve it
My man, react to sacrifices by ROTD3! Best song on the album
Lil dicky - really scared
Another non jokes, building up track
“Who taking care of my farm?” Hits so different. This man had a whole 2 minute metaphor that sounded amazing
I’m glad you never heard this until now so it resonates more with you.
Please react to. Lil Dicky make beleve.
If you aint done chum by earlsweatshirt you need to get it
duffy7993 THANK YOU
Any earl would be fine tbh
Bruh you're the most genuine human being in the planet, mad respect
Great analysis bro... keep up the hustle 🔥
“Once you get the fire started, you gotta keep adding more wood” - LayedBakDFR
You on some philosophical shit
Lol dicky Molly or Ex boyfriend. Post Malone Goodbye
You want that side of dicky, "Molly" is a must listen 🔥
@@kneemomiller3128 It is such a good song.
Post Malone Goodbyes🔥🔥🔥
@@07GurlBabii Yes it is. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Been waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥
idk if youll see this man, but i hope you do. long time watching and i recently found this song, and saw you had a reaction to it, so naturally i had to watch. you was talkin about havin 200k subs at the time and growing and questioning yourself. i hope you see the success that you have today, and question that a lot less. you definitely have a place here, and we all want to see nothing but the best. keep up the awesome work bro
Ignore all the comments, react to make belief
he has 2 other great songs in a similar vein to this one. Make Belief and Really Scared.
Crazy dude. Like how you said a year ago when the vid was out you were at 200k, wondering if you would be ready for bigger things to come. And look how far you have come!
This legit is my favourite freestyle from lil dicky, i love the beat, and his flow, also great vid!
More real songs of him:
"Lil Dicky - Molly" is about a past relationship of his and how he had to break up with her due to his pursuit of his rap career.
"Lil Dicky - Make Belief" is about how people thought he would never be great, but that he'll prove them wrong and disses the other rappers who all make the same type of music and he is unique.
"Lil Dicky - Professional Rapper (ft. Snoop Dogg)" is about how he wants to be great and knows his own potential, but is still new to the game and learning.
You should also react to "Pillow Talking". It is kind of a funny song, but it hits on a ton of general controversial issues or differences between people.
Appreciate your thoughtful commentary. Respect,
I'm just so happy that I found this song through layedbak's channel....
The song is lethally underrated ❤️
Just watched this today and you have 2.18 million followers bro you came a long way respect
This song is so DEEP!!! Dope reaction as always bro!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Always waiting for a video, Always looking forward to watch your videos, much respect once again!
haha love that you’re talking about hittin 200K half a year ago and now you’re on your way to 1 mil. keep doing you man and keep on improving. much love brotha
IDK what was better; The song or the inspiration from the commentary . Thank you
