for anyone else dying to know why it's called Goat Rock, this is what NPS responded to on a Facebook post awhile back: "According to an article from 1964, 'The name originated from the fact that a large goat lived in the rock many years ago.'"
I lived in Hot Springs for ten years, beautiful town, I loved it there. Love Gulpha Gorge👍👍👍
