It's a treat for my eyes to watch a lancer getting the love. I think my lancer also requires some from you guys, might visit soon! Needs suspension work, paint, some dents and the main issue.. RPM drops when AC is on and it's in D mode. Changed throttle body changed Idle Air control valve didnt solve the issue. Can you guess what might be causing this issue? :(

Ac amplifier hota hai blower motor k sath, get that checked if it is present in your car or missing most probably if you bought the car used, some previous AC technician would have removed that part, I have Suzuki baleno and it's a common occurrence in baleno hence I'm guessing the same for lancer

We have tried to address this RPM drop issue in part - 3 which will be uploaded soon. Get you car engine compression tested if it is low then unfortunately you will have to get its engine overhauled otherwise RPM drop issue in D mode will remain. This is what we learned about it after checking everything.

There are two origin of lancers in Pakistan, one is the Thailand one which was imported by Shahnawaz and the other is JDM import, the issue with the break cylinder is that JDM lancer has ABS breaks and the Thailand one doesn't, and the parts available in the Pakistan market (brand new one) are based on the the one imported by Shahnawaz (which was basically officially launched) and the parts available in the used market (kabli parts) are of the JDM one, that is why it has some parts difference,

I've the same Lancer model. But with 1.6 CVT AWD. Comes with rear wiper, and all the goodies. The car is a treat to drive, the road grip is insanely good.
However the vibration issues are very annoying.
I had to replace my spark plugs, coils (YEC YENMA), clean throttle body etc.
Yes the car demands work, but once it's done, this machine is a beast, imagine driving a car from 2006/7 which runs like this.
Mansoor autos has all the parts available, they've an online store.
It's a myth that the parts are not available, truth is our mechanics are just not used to working on a better built machine.
Have been following condition tech for a while, their work is top notch.
Yes parts are hard to come by and are expensive, but you won't have to do it everyday if your mechanic is intelligent.
These machines don't break down that easily.

Also another issue was the correct transmission oil. This car comes with CVT(INVECS II) and ATF,
So you NEED to check which transmission it is. Make sure you've the correct fluid in, otherwise you'll have transmission issues.

You are right this car has good drive and road grip but engine management wise it is a bit weak, its ecu is slow and once its engine compression goes low then it gives lots of issues specially the idling issue. I know about mansoor autos, i discovered them while doing this project also purchased some parts from them. they are good people.

Nice 👍.. if possible mention shops or dealers from where parts purchased. If possible as per ur experience which brake pads are best for Honda city 2017 as genuine are too expensive. Secondly mention product or chemical use to remove watermark.

We have mentioned an online store for lancer parts in 3rd part of this series. For brake pads we normally purchase second best brake pads available after genuine ones because genuine ones are too expensive. For watermarks removal we are using "Vanquish" of Tonyin brand

Yes! we apply full paint in paint booth but these were few pieces and dust was low so we opted to apply in open, it turned out perfect.
