You are a fountain of knowledge. Thank you for sharing it with us. I've learned so much from your videos. In my small corner, I just published two books -- a coloring book and a puzzle book. It was not a trivial process and I had to learn soooooooooooooooooooo many new things (keywords, Canva, graphic editing design, marketing content, and on and on and on). Stay amazing!

Interesting tactic with the "filtered" link. Definitely worth a video!
I was intrigued enough to try it with my own search terms and inserting my ASIN but without all the mumbo jumbo at the end and it still worked. I don't know the function of the characters at the end of their link, but I'm wondering if it's needed for this tactic to function properly or not.
It seems a bit like gaming the system, but on the other hand, if I'm driving traffic from an external site to Amazon - this benefits Amazon too - then I feel all's fair in love and war, right?
What are the potential downsides to doing this?

The most important thing to take from this video is (this PUBLISHER HAS THEIR OWN ISBN) with your own ISBN you can a lot more. Amazon rules and guidelines are very detailed and very long but, Do not get discouraged. Over saturation-( No! look at it as competition, let it be your drive) AMAZON is free. Yes it is free. of course they charge a printing free, but nothing out of pocket, so free for you. Amazon will block a Journal series if you attempt it. because it is considered a low content book and no low content, or paperback book can be a series, unless you have your own ISBN (over 100 each).

Amazon has discontinued supplying ISBN numbers for low content books. Without the ISBN, the look inside feature is disabled. How did they work around this? I am having trouble with this, even using the A+ content feature. It doesn't matter how great a journal is if buyers can't look inside.

I agree and cannot understand how certain books with so little effort have such high ratings. Yes the branding and consistency is true. And I agree that A Plus content is a must and so simple to do.

I just created a couple of similar guided prompt journals and attempted to set them up as a series, and it was blocked by Amazon. My email explanation stated that this kind of fill in the blank journal was considered low content and not eligible to be a series. I am curious how this seller is getting around this rule.

Perhaps it's not set up as a series but as individual books. They just appear as a series because of the same look.

One question: I am working on my first journal, and I thought I understood that it is not allowed to put any identifying info (email address, website, etc.) inside the book...? I went back and took it all out! Am I wrong? I'm referring to the page of freebies inside this Mum journal series. Also, how do you tell for sure if this is independently published? It didn't appear in advanced search results.
You can put that into into your pages. Your email address or website you can put in an interior page. I also use QR codes for readers to get freebies and this way I have their email address for future promotions.

The market is flooded, no one's making anything. It was a good thing when a few people were doing it but it's like anything.
I understand that the title is there to get views, after all I’m here……however it would be far more useful if people posted videos that gave a true reflection of what you’re going to make doing something like this.
the reason they can put these books as a series is bc they didnt publish thru kdp. these newer versions of these books were published thru their own third party publisher.
this book is not on amazon kdp. this author initially published these books under kdp, but they werent that successful. however, they republished them with their publisher/company. then their books skyrocketed to this success. therefore, i think the title of this video is misleading because these new popular books were not published by amazon kdp,
I make 6 billion dollars a second picking my boogers and laminating them in colorful journals so I know that this is legitimate.

Just the fact that the author of this video rarely answers any questions that are big concerns to viewers tells me all I need to know and is a big red flag for me to stay away from this. That tells me that she pretty much just creates the video to get views and doesn't have answers to anyone questions. I no longer subscribe to a channel unless the author is great at interacting and answering questions. Luckily there are plenty of content creators that do answer questions. .......
I decided to no longer follow advice like this. Why? For the past ten years I've seen it happen and it always ends the same. First, you find a good gig to earn thousands. Yay. Then you get on CZcams and tell others. Yay. Soon thousands upon ten thousands do it. Yay. Then a thing called saturation happens. So many people are doing it now that it's harder to earn money. But...there's money in selling golden shovels. I know one lady who's youtube content is solely this. Makes thousands doing this...doing that...but after saturation comes she moves to another gig. However she doesn't do it herself but makes darn sure she gets her views and subscribers and sleeps well at night with a michevious smile. That's her income. To me, the golden shovel sales is a legitimate ethical scam. Same with crypto platforms. Once saturation comes you move on to another one.
Ya I'm sure we can all do it. 😂
