- This is my own version of the Generations Overture applied to the title sequence of Star Trek: Enterprise. I saw something like this once and thought I would try it myself with better quality source video.

Wait what?!!!!!? I had no idea this existed and kept on saying the pop song was not too bad…. But now that I know this exists…. Omggg why!!?!?!???? This is stunning
Hey Karine. When will you be back in Vienna? I´d love to see you play.
Isn't it? Bet the ratings would've been good enough to warrant 7 full seasons just by this new intro song alone!
Actually this isn’t the deleted title music Dennis McCarthy wrote. This the Overture from Star Trek Generations. The real deleted title music is Archer’s Theme also by McCarthy. I suggest you check it out.
Hating how much I like this better
now thats a TREK title
If only they'd used this! It would still be on now :(
They need to slow it down, and use a different visual arrangement.
I like this a lot. Good work
You can't go wrong with Generations.
I get goose bumps whenever I watch this. The first time I saw it, I thought, 'Okay, so why don't we have warp drive yet?"
BRAVO! "Generations" fits so well with the images.
this.... no words...
Would have loved the intro to be this.
My feelings exactly! This theme works so much better than the pop song. I don't know what Berman was thinking with using the song, and it definitely didn't fit the show after the 1st season. You really made this theme match up perfectly with the titles, great job!
This was a great edit. To me, the deleted track Archer’s theme is the best track for the title but even this piece shows how fitting McCarthy’s music is to Star Trek or at least in the Berman era.
That was amazing!
Thanks for watching.
Fan-bloody-tastic! Well done.
perfect!! music and visuals both capture the majestic splendour of Star Trek
That was so much better than the song they used.
Das passt auf verwirrender-weise sehr gut vermittelt viel besser das es sich um den Beginn eines neuen grossen Abenteuers handelt als der lahme Song "Where My Heart Will Take Me" von Russell Watson^^
Fantastic!
Nailed it!!! When Enterprise premiered I literally turned it off after the credits because I was so appalled. My brain just couldn't compute that they were using a cheesy ass song for the opening.
This is exactly 5,694,301.2039x better than that the folk song they ended up using.
That's a very specific number.
Looks like someone doesn't have faith... of the heeeaaaart....
Why the fuck didn't they use this?! They could have prevented being canceled
This alone would have made the show 10x more watchable.
This theme sounds good for the credits at the end of the show.Good job.
I don't know how much tweaking you had to do to get the music to match the image beats, but the end result works very well! 👍
Much better than what they went with.
much improved from the original MTV video
"It's been a long road, but CZcams got me here. It's been a long time, but this time's it's finally here..."
Not Bad....but still prefer "I've Got Faith" . Although, I do think the TOS jingle shoud've been utilized in the final track.
So much better than that vag-rock song they went with.
while a good reconstruction of the original, the music is about 4 seconds behind where it actually stood in the promo video from paramount
I immediately noticed this as well. I still have the original alternate opening sequence leaked from Paramount (low quality, but watchable) and the music syncs up perfectly with the images. In fact, I would dare to say the opening titles were originally designed to go Dennis McCarthy's music, and was then changed just before its official release. Far preferred McCarthy's alternate theme over what we got.
@@Apple2gs it syncs up perfectly in this version. Every major musical cue hits on some kind of significant moment. The final notes are about a second off from the flash of light after Enterprise goes to warp, but that's the only thing I could possibly criticise.
I prefer the one they used.
9/11 had just happened ... I think the spirit of the "It's been a long way" intro was actually just right ...
I somehow thought it started in 2000, but you're right, the first episode aired literally two weeks afterwards.
you timed it wrong
Ok you fixed the music. Any want to fix the titles and every episode? The only good thing about this was the revelation that we smell bad to Vulcans.
Doesn't really fit, honestly.
